Article Duplication

Hi guys

If I submit the same article at different article directories, will I get done for duplicated content, or is duplicate content only checked on each individual article directory

PS... which article directories are the best ones to submit to, I have got an account on Ezinearticles, I just wanted to check which other ones are rated the same as Ezine

    Its always recommended that you submit original content - meaning re-writing your articles, however article directories will accept duplicated articles as long as its clear that you are the owner.

      Actually it is not "always" recommended to rewrite your articles for each directory submission.

      I recommend submitting the same article to a number of different places, including multiple article directories.

      If you are going to rewrite an article, then submit THAT new article again to the different websites. This gives you much more exposure, increases the chances that each article will rank highly in the search engines, increases your virtual real estate and brings more backlinks to your website.

      But this is just from my own experience and the stats and data that I have access to, so this may not apply to everyone.

      As far as which ones are the best? You'll have to find that out on your own using your own results and looking at the results of others in your niche. Sit down and start searching Google for your keyword phrases - let Google tell you where to submit!

      It also makes life a little less stressful.

        Unless things have changed within the last 24 hours duplicate content means the same exact content within your own site or the same exact content within any type of site...

    There are a lot of posts on here that deal with duplicate content so I don't want to beat that dead horse... but you might want to do a search for the keywords that you are wishing to rank high for. In the first couple of pages you will see a few of the directories that rank well for your keywords or topic.

    One thing that I do that has worked for me when submitting an article to a few different directories is to change the title a little bit.

    Also, many directories also ask that you write a 2-5 line introduction to your article. I have a few articles that are basically the same article that all rank almost side by side in Google on the same search results.

    There is no duplicate content penalty .. This is a Myth that many of us wish would go away. Maybe if so many wannabe marketers would stop trying to sell their spinners based on a myth, then so many would not fall for the crap..

    It is your choice to either spin / rewrite your article, it is not needed... Just imagine if a new software company releases some cool new software and they send a press release out to thousands of media contacts.. Do you think thy spin that press release ??? I can almost bet you that they would not.

    If you chose to spin / rewrite then do it properly using the proper tools. There are many benefits to spinning your article though, such as more publishers may pick it up due to its not the same articles that a 100 other publishers picked up. This is only one benefit, there are many many more..

    As for which article directories, only you know this and nobody else can tell you because there are many factors involved. Just because someone says EZA is the be all and end all, does not mean they will be for you. The same goes with any other article directory. You need to grab some up and start testing them to see which ones work for "you"...

      Yes, but don't become content with a single test run. Always make it a point to test out other directories - even those you have tested in the past because things are changing all the time in the SEs and at a lot of ADs.

    EzineArticles and GoArtices will get you the best results in driving targeted traffic to your money site.

    Pick out 5-dirctories to submit to and stay with that group for a while.

    Become established and accepted, before you expand you submissions to more directories

    Send out several articles every day and you will succeed
