Default 97 Business Principles For a Better Businesses

So I have compelled a list of all the business principles that I have came across, in my business affairs. I'm not saying there is only 97, there is probably more, I just haven't learned them yet. With that being said, there is some that you haven't heard of or some that dosn't make any sense. If you don't understand one or more them them just ask, and I will help in anyway I can.

Here are the 97 Business Principles:

1. In the Beginning of Business is the Offer.

2. All Business is Transacted By Unequals.

3. If the Offer is a Good Offer Take it As Is. (If You Mess it Up, There’s No Deal)

4. Never Just Refuse an Offer, Make a Counter-Offer. (Only If U Don’t Like the Offer to Start With)

5. All Business is Transacted With an Acceptance.

6. Never Make a Commitment Until You Have Analyzed the Problem.
(Think About Each Thing You Buy)

7. Never Accept a Deal That You Can’t Perform Your End Of. (Your Word is Your Bond)

8. The Best Business is Repeat Business.

9. You Never Lost Money on a Deal You Didn’t Make.

10. Never Charge Interest and Never Pay Interest, Always Pay in Cash. (It’s Just Unethical)

11. Do On to Your Customer That Which You Will Have Your Customer Do to You. (Treatment)

12. When You’re the Seller, Always Deliver More Then You Agreed To. (Over Sell)

13. When You’re the Buyer, You Always Want to Pay More Then You Agreed To.

14. Every Transaction Must Benefit All Party All The Time. (Offer Value)

15. Never Risk More Then You Can Afford Too Loose.

16. Never Position Yourself in a Transaction So That You Can Be Taken Advantage Of.

17. Never Trust Anyone, Business is Predicated on Performance, NOT Trust.

18. Thou Shall Not Steal.

19. There is Safety in Numbers, Always Get Some else Option.

20. You Have to Be in Control of Your: Vanity, Lust, Greed, Jealousy & Fear.

21. Find a Need and Fill It.

22. There is No Such Thing as Unemployment.

23. A Man/Women Word is Their Bond.

24. A Deal in Your Hand is Worth Two in Your Head. (Think About the Deal You Make, Before You Put Your Money Down)

25. Unreasonable Expectations Always Leads to Poverty. (Business Doesn’t Deal With Gambling)

26. If You Can’t Hang on To It, Then You Don’t Need to Make It. (Learn Money Management Skills)

27. If You Always Eat the Best First, Then You Will Always Have the Best. (Choosing Which Deals to Take)

28. If You Never Do Business With a Thief, You Will Never Be Stolen From.

29. There is No Substitute for Diligence and Hard Work. (Business Doesn’t Stop at 5PM)

30. In Business You Get What You Pay For. (So, Pay for the Good Stuff)

31. A Satisfied Customer is the Best Value for Your Advertising Dollar.

32. A Business Without a Plan is Like a Car Without a Engine.

33. Credit Business is Bad Business.

34. The Single Most Important Part of Business is Getting Paid.

35. If You Need a License to Do Your Business, Then Your Business is a Criminal Activity.

36. There is Nothing Wrong With Making Profit.

37. A Business Like a Ship Only Has Room For One Captain, Business is Not Ran By Comity.

38. In Business There is No Substitute for Experience.

39. All Wealth Comes Out of the Ground.

40. Working for Wages is the Opposite of Business, There is No Money in Employment.

41. Never Go Surety and You Will Never Pay Another Man's Debt.

42. A Good Product Sells Itself Over and Over Again.

43. A Lazy Businessman is a Poor Businessman.

44. Incentive & Productivity Go Together. (Keeping Motivated)

45. When Your Looking for Product to Sell, Look For Something Small But Extremely Valuable.

46. In Business Doing the Impossible is Routine.

47. Success in Business is Determined By Accomplishment, Not by Intend.

48. Everything Cost More Then You Original Though. (Always Add 1/3 to the Total)

49. The Most Competitive Business Has the Lowest Prices, Best Product & Best Service.

50. Every Dollar Cut From Overhead is a Dollar of Profit that Goes Straight to the Bottom Line.

51. A Business Financed With Borrowed Money Will Always Fail.

52. The 2% Model is Best. (Buy it for a $1, Then Sell it for $2 Also, deal in Geometric Progression)

53. Build Your Barn First, Then With the Profits Build the House.

54. Overhead is a Luxury that Profit Can Not Afford.

55. All Contracts Are Oral, The Document is the Highest Form of a Contract. (Think Quietly)

56. A Man Will Only Trade That Which He Esteems Least.

57. The Profit is Made When You Buy, Not When You Sell. (Buy Low & Sell High)

58. A Business Like a Crap Table, It is NOT a Place to Store Your Wealth.

59. Business Unlike Diamonds are Not Forever.

60. A Fool Gives His Capital To Another Too Loose.

61. All Business By Its Very Nature is a Selfish-Enterprise.

62. Good Business Like a Good Story Comes From the Heart & Not From Company Policy.

63. Opportunity is Like Rain, It’s Everywhere & Like Water It Needs to Be Channeled For Best Use.

64. If You Can’t Sell, Then Nobody Needs It.

65. Don’t Sell Something You Don’t Have.

66. Don’t Look a Gift Horse in the Mouth.

67. A Profitable Employee Will Never Be Unemployed.

68. He Who Has the Gold, Makes the Rules.

69. Whenever You Loose Money, It’s Always on a Deal You Wish You Never Made.

70. Too Ensure that Your Capital is Invested Wisely, Invest Your Capital With Yourself.

71. Too Ensure the Lost of Your Capital, Invest it With Anyone.

72. Create Your Own Opportunity.

73. Everybody is a Consumer, But Only a Few Consumers are Producers.

74. Do Business with a Produces and You Will Be Prosperous.

75. A Rich Mans Needs are Few & A Poor Mans Needs are Many and Endless.

76. Business is For the Rich Man, Charity is For the Poor Man.

77. A Wise Man Deals in Property, A Fool Deals in Commercial Paper.

78. The Poor Speak Endlessly of Riches & They are Impoverished By it.

79. The Rich Speak Endlessly of Work & They are Enriched By it.

80. Gold is the Currency of Kings, Sliver is the Currency of Gentleman, Barter is the Currency of Peons & Debt is the Currency of Slaves.

81. Never Put Your Money in the Bank (Don’t Do Business With Criminals)

82. Never Buy Anything You Can’t Take Possession Of.

83. When You Buy Blue Sky, You Get What You Pay For.

84. In the World of Business, There are 3 Business Boys to Every Business Man.

85. A Good Name is More Valuable Then Gold.

86. All Men are Motivated By There: Jealousy, Vanity, Lust, Greed & Fear.

87. After You Ask the Closing Question, Then Shut Up.

88. A Business Man Needs to Learn How to Listen.

89. If You Try to Make Every Deal, Poverty Will Be Your Reward.

90. Debt is the Mortal Enemy of Business.

91. Always Take Your Discounts.

92. Guard Your Capital With Your Life.

93. Buy Low & Sell High.

94. Honesty is the Best Policy.

95. Fool Me Once Shame on You, Fool Me Twice Shame on Me.

96. Just Because the Business is Efficiently, Doesn’t Mean its Profitable.

97. Everybody has 10 Friends.
