Maybe, just maybe, there is nothing really new with internet marketing except good old fashioned fundamentals that are tweaked.
It seems that sometimes, everything goes in a circle. What once was the accepted way to do something gets updated with a new fad...
The old becomes "old fashioned" and "passe..."
...A new technique or new piece of technology that is the latest and greatest and gets utilized to make the fast money for its inventor and early users by its usage and the sale of the actual technology or how to implement the technique.
"Don't get left behind" is the cry...
And people rush to not get left behind...
People capitalize on this new fad, but then after some higher powers catch on, killing the latest and greatest...
The same people who capitalized on it tell you why the secret that made them a killing is not the best way to go for "you"
They then sightly change their approach labeling it the new way to go...
And the abandoned way is labeled old, passe, and often unethical by the developers and early implementors.
However, after the noise or more powerful people force changes, that way too, is labeled "not effective" or "unethical" and another change is made.
The quick strike leads to the quick bucks for some and then when the gold rush is over...out of the market they go to sell something easier...something everyone can understand - shovels.
