Need advice regarding emailing my subscribers.

Hi,

I am presently using aweber to send email to my subscribers.

Before using aweber, I used icontact. I have around 100 subscribers in icontact.

I canceled my account in icontact as I didnt like their service.

I want to import my icontact subscribers to aweber. But if I use aweber, imported subscribers should confirm their email again.

All my subscribers in icontact already confirmed the subscription and I do not want to ask them to confirm again.

What should I do now? Can any advice how to solve this problem?

I really appreciate your advice.

I've never transferred a subscribers from service to service, but if this was me, I'd personally send them something free and apologise to them for having to subscribe again, also try customise the confirmation email and surely they'll confirm.

Tell them if they confirm again and accept your apology you'll direct them too your new free product or something along those lines. That's just my 2cents, hope it goes well.

Yes I would agree with Karl. You have to get them to optin to aweber anyway so just send them a free report, video, ebook or whatever. If you apologise and tell them what you are doing then they will be fine with it.

If any of them unsubscribe because of this then they are not worth having if you cannot communicate with them!

Good luck with the transfer, I use aweber and have no problems with it and find it excellent and easy to use.

You will have to send them another opt-in and chances are you will lose a significant portion of them. It is just the way it goes. The good news is 100 subscribers isn't a lot so your losses won't hurt as bad as if you had more.

What I would do is send them an email explaining that you are moving to different email software so that you can improve the service you are giving to them. Explain what date you are going to do this and explain that to help protect them from spam email you will need them to opt in again.

I know to some a list of 100 may not seem a lot but I can still remember reaching my first 100 and how much work I had done to get them. If you need any further help you can always PM me

    Hi guys

unfortunately they will have to confirm again but those that do will be worth there waiting gold.

You could always grab a quick plr product and offer it to them to join your aweber list rather than just telling them you have merged lists.

    kind regards
