Strange geographical behavior...
I spend parts of each year in three different countries. I've noticed before how my sales behavior "seems" to change with my location. For example, I'll note increases in traffic and sales from the country I'm currently in.
But my sites are hosted in the U.S. and I know that my personal location can have nothing to do with my online business. The shifts in sales have to be coincidental.
But something else happened recently that really has me scratching my head. This is normally my best time of year for sales. As usual, things were churning along pretty well... until I went to Spain. On that very same day my sales crashed and stayed in the dumps for the seven days I was in Spain. I even posted a thread here about my sudden slump.
Then I returned to the U.K. and on the very same day sales tripled! Business is back to normal.
