Paypal account type question

Currently I have a Premier account, I was wondering does it have any limits? For example if I actually manage to create a buying frenzy and people can't be stopped putting money in my Paypal that it reaches tens of thousands per day... do I need to have a Business account or Premier will just do fine? (the only difference I see between the two is "Multi-user access")

    Mark,

    Yes it does.

You'd be much better to upgrade it to a business account if you are doing business like that.

    Hope this helps ...

Hi, EDIT: I'm in no way disagreeing with Mary (didn't see the post) A business account wouldn't hurt. I just know others who haven't gone to business and use the premier. Mary's advise is good. (as always)

Your account is fine for what you are describing, however, be sure to call PayPal and tell them you are getting ready to run a campaign and to expect a large influx of cash.

I've found over the years from personal experience and mainly from talking to ones who do a lot more business than I do that you should build up relatively slowly.

Run a campaign where maybe just $3k comes in. Then $4k etc. Keep in contact with PayPal and constantly let them know what is going on.

Very true! Paypal is a very sensitive animal. If he suspects something, your account status will be changed... You don't want that to happen!

Thank you Mary and George. I guess I'll keep in contact with them in case a sudden influx of cash happens. Thanks again.
