If i have a website design based on a custom made script by a company can I use the same script and let another designer work on it?

The problem is that I paid a company to design a certain kind of directory that i have launch in my country. The company is charging me big bucks in order to replicate the same site in another country. Can I ask another designer to do it?

    If they are altering the design, this is pretty common to have third parties provide work. Now if there is a license fee for the second country to use the script, you are probably responsible for paying that.
