ARG! The Title Dilema!

Some of you guys last week may have seen I was asking around for which title you guys thought was the best for a PE article. I wrote another article but it's not getting as good of CTs as the others so I'm back to the two below...

Right Now I have an article called

'Penis Enlargement Exercises - What The Heck Are They?'

and another called

'Penis Enlargement Exercises - What Pill Companies Don't Want You to Know'

Obviously the 2nd title is probably more intruiging but as you can see below it is slightly too long for google. Both are getting right around a 47% CT rate and next week I need to start backlinking one of them. So my question is, do I start on the first one and just go with it... or do I go with the 2nd even tho some of the title is cut off?

Appreciate your input on which you think will get me the most people clicking on my article in Google results.

- Brandon

I would personally start on the second one...even though part of the title is cut off...people will deduce the rest.

Also, the fact that part of the title is cut off could lead to even MORE intrigue.

    Rick

The length of the title shouldn't be a factor - instead you should be taking into consideration where your articles are already ranked for your keywords, and the number of backlinks your competitors on page 1 have. Really you should be building backlinks to your own site rather than EZA though.

I totally agree but I AM building backlinks to my own site, just for slightly different keywords within the niche. I can't cover the 30 some KWs I want to rank for all with my site so I'm going about it with some articles to help me out.

Someone always has to try and bash me when I post about this. Just because YOU'VE never tried something doesn't mean it doesn't work.

Furthermore, the site's refund process is simple and they don't ask questions (they don't need to with their sale volume) but I've sold 40+ copies over the past couple months with 0 refunds so I consider it to be a fairly safe product, but thanks for your attempt at crusading through my thread.

How much success have you had with it?

        Interesting title!

I would go with the cut off version as well. I agree that it builds intrigue.

        Good Luck!

I hope you mean selling it, not using the product... I've had a fair amount of success selling the product, I haven't had the "need" to use it

Reviewing the product is one thing, trying it is another and I don't think you actually believe that everyone selling muscle building products has a six pack, or that everyone selling weight loss products is skinny, or that everyone selling a wedding planning guide has actually planned a wedding.

What I was getting at, you said, how do you know it doesn't work if you never tried it. You never tried it so you don't know it works, when you have big medical sites saying its a scam, what do you have proving them wrong? Honest question, if you can prove them wrong, it can easily be worked into your sales letter.

I totally know what you're getting at, and I do agree but penis enlargement is something that has ALWAYS been taboo and viewed as a "dirty" industry. The article says no scientific study indicates they work, how many studies do you think Mayo has ACTUALLY done asking people to follow an enlargement course for months and recording the results? By the same token, they never mention any particular study in which it was proven you can't gain through these methods, or any study at all for that matter.

While I understand it may seem far-fetched, and the penis enlargement industry does contain scams (I won't contest you there ), at the same time I don't think this overly taboo subject has been given enough attention in actual medical studies to support either conclusion.

Right now, all I have to go by is the product (it looks very well thought-out), the refund rate (0% so far), and the thank you e-mails I've actually received from a few of my buyers (probably ones who bought a couple months back, otherwise I wouldn't think the time they've had the product would be enough to give credit to their claims).

Anyways, this has gotten horribly off-topic but I just wanted to throw that out there, there are two sides to everything ; )

This niche not only has generated me the most online profit so far, but is undoubtedly the winner when it comes to bringing laughs to the people who ask me about my work... Honestly, there are just too many puns and you can't avoid stumbling into a few of them every time the topic is raised

Hi, If it's not illegal or unethical, I say go for it! After all, if nobody sold stuff like this, there would be a HUGE gap in the market.

Can't say I'm the world's best copywriter (by a long shot) but if you're selling something that already has vast competition, try something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT - It's less embarassing to download this free report (or whatever) than doing nothing about it - only not as bad.

Again, good for you, and good luck with this. You have obviously done your homework on this niche.
