With All of the EZA Drama...

So part of my link building plan involves writing about 5 more articles per keyword and submitting them to directories to point back at my main EZA. with all of the scrutiny EZA has been putting on authors, do you think it might be better to ONLY submit these articles to other websites. EZA has great traffic but maybe submitting 5 in a day all of the time of articles in the same niche might looks too spammy?

I should also mention that all articles are 400-500 words, and my own unique, original work. The only problem is some of them ARE similar.

I was wondering what your thoughts were on this,

Thanks!

- Brandon

I submit 10-30 a day to EZA all in the same niche with very similar information, have never had a problem.

As long as your articlesa are good and non salesy, three should be no problem.

After all more you submit more content they have.

As long as your not copying somebody else's content and the articles are well written, I really don't see why you would have any problems. I certainly haven't.

Alexa, I am with you on this.
I have heard different things regarding submitting to your own site first. Being unclear as to the correct answer to this I wanted to find out from my own experience.
Last night I installed an article (hand written)at my sites blog and was amazed that it was indexed by Google with in a few minutes. I then submitted the exact same to EZA and it may take about 7 days for approval but I will see which will rank the best.
If this works out the way that I think it will I am pretty sure that my site will out rank.

I was going to say the same thing as Alexa as far as pointing these articles to your EZA stuff. It's a waste of time. Point them toward your own sites.

Secondly, as long as you write quality articles that are original, you aren't going to have a problem with EZ submissions. Adding 5 a day is nothing.

I have to agree with Alexa on this. If you want to bump your Ezine articles a bit social bookmarking and pinging your author feed is the way to go, not writing new articles just to get backlinks to your Ezine one.

And submitting 5 articles at once should not be a problem. That is done regularly at EZA.

One of the main concerns of EZA is to get quality articles that are not old articles that are respun. As you mentioned you wrtie them yourself you are not going to have any problem submitting 5 or more articles per day to EZA all based on the same niche. You have to remember they probably get thousands of articles submitted every day for every kind of niche going so there is no need to worry about them looking too spammy.

Just keep them high quality and EZA will have no problem at all.

And for those talking about "my site" I have a lander optimized for a couple of keywords but I can't rank that site for all 30 of the keywords I have to go after... I use articles to scoop up other KWs. I still write articles and post them on my blog (which is a page on my landing site's domain) but these ones are completely different than the ones I submit to EZA.
