WSO, How many of them really work.

Well this is an easy question to answer. Many of them do work really well.

Every few day's I like to search through the different threads and see people's comments on them.

I have noticed that very few times do people actually say, "I made money with this just now". I see very common phrases like, "This will really work", or "there are good methods here".

Just a though on the WSO's around here, I feel it would be good for buyers of these offers to come back and say they actually made something, and not just comment on how good the product looks.

I feel this will help people alot, or maybe im off my rocker :]

    Hey,

I am pretty new here too.

I think it's like anything else. I'm sure you'll find that very, very few people here actually give something the full try. I think there is a combination of lousy offers, and a combination of people who just don't actually do what they should.

I do think the feedback gives some interesting clues.

m4rx you crazy! jk I'd also like to see some comments like that. But I have seen some excellent products in there (one mini site guy had amazing quality product in there for cheap a while back).

LOL you're right, I also noticed that in 90% of the WSO's. Most of them have a great number of reviews but yes, again, things like :"this definitely has potential" or "I think this could work" and "some very good methods here" but I hardly seen something like "Wow this has really worked for me! I made $100 today just by following the methods on this WSO" BUT, I'm sure that most of them have good information inside that you can apply, twist, tweak, mix and combine with other techniques to make good money, I think WSO are a good source of information but you have to go further.

    Thanks

I totally agree with you. Unfortunately, some people have friends or even partners comment on the WSO and offer testimonials. (Kind of like a you scratch my back deal), which in return inflates the value of the WSO.

I think the ones who provide solid content and information usually prevail in the long run.

Another problem is 90% of people don't take action on the WSO either or on any product they buy.

They get caught into a buying "frenzy" or "information loop" and gripe about never making money.

Some of the old core tactics in internet marketing still work today!

Overall, there are some really good ones out there that can work if you take action. But, I agree with you and think it would be nice to see results!

I like to try something all the way through before I actually promote the product or person before I give any testimonial.

      The thing about WSO's is:

      50% are pure rubbish

      40% are recycled rubbish

      10% are worthwhile

Just keep in mind most of the comments mean nothing, because they have been solicited for or are provided by people with ulterior motives.

BUT some are pure gold you just need to learn to recognize the people who create quality and avoid the ones that are serial purveyors of dog poop.

        Hi m4rx

Another thing to consider is this.

Some WSO's are better than the author realised. So the buyers buy, make loads of money and think to themselves. "No way am I going to push this - I will keep it for myself"

Instead they/I quietly make money with the system and hope no one else finds out about the value of that particular WSO.

Its a bit selfish but that's the way things are

        Just a thought

I absolutely agree with you Kenj. It's the same reason why we don't post links to our successful youtube campaigns or blogs - once the word gets out on this forum, it's a free-for-all for all the IM vultures out there. Selfish, yes, but it brings home the bacon.

I don't know if you've noticed but there's a disease in IM circles?

Yep, it's a reallt ****ty one.

It's called procrastination - it saps the soul out you and leaves you just reading WSOs for the sake of it.

But for those not suffering from this disease there is something that you can look for when buying WSOs - PROOF!

I know there are some shady M.F.ers out there who fake it but mst of the time it's pretty obvious.
If in doubt ask for more proof or send the WSO poster a pm to satisfy your curiosity - you can normally get a gut feeling about this stuff.

If you're looking at SEO products it's really quite simple though, ask to see a site that they have created and used their method on - if it works you'll see the results (don't forget to do a whois lookup as well just to check the site age).

BTW, the cure for procrastination is cash - so make some cash and you'll be cured :-)

          Paul.

I've never bought a WSO that worked.

I have to work to click the buy now button.
I have to work to download them.
I have to work to follow the directions in them.

And those lazy little buggers just set there on my hard drive doing nothing. I've never seen one lift a finger to do anything.

While I'm on my rant you should know, when I went to school the books never read to me. The pencil never wrote for me and the paper never made my reports magically appear. In fact the teacher did nothing for me but teach me. Lazy teacher!

Furthermore, when I got my first job, one of many over the years, my desk never cleared the paper work for me, my typewriter never produced letters for me, (that lazy typwriter made me use it's keys, insert paper, hit the carriage return etc.)

Nothing I ever had in my whole life ever worked. I had to do all the work myself. What a life.

I was going to reply that most of the WSOs work but few of the buyers do - but George said it much more eloquently.

You took the words right out of my mouth.... Great response.

No matter what it is in life, YOU have to work it. Sure there may be some scams here and there, thats unavoidable, but anything that is half decent, you can work it into a success. Most people just don't do that unfortunately.

I've bought lots of WSOs that are great but like most products gathering dust on my hard drive, I just don't do anything with them.

Now, that is my problem and not the problem of the seller.

I agree that many buy WSOs and don't bother to do the work, but I certainly don't agree that most WSOs work if YOU DO the work. There's a lot of garbage there in the midst of the real gems. The trick is finding the gems and leaving the garbage behind.

For someone just starting out I suggest staying away from systems altogether until they have a good idea of what type of business model they are wanting to pursue. Read and gather all the free info out there and see how others are making money. Find something that you think will work for you and only then should you start spending any money and then you should look for shovels not systems. One exception to this is I suggest all newbies join the war room the info to be found there is well worth the one time fee.

Mostly I look for tools, something that will either save me time on something I am already doing or allow me to do something I am not because it does it streamlines the process enough so that I will actually have the time to add that to my schedule.

The "systems" that I have purchased have been something I was already thinking about, working on, or something I thought would fit into what I already was doing. What I was looking for in my purchase was either a better way to do it or information that would shorten my learning curve and save me some mistakes.

Again I am back to that saving time thing. If I spend $37 on a wso or any other product and it saves me an hour then I come out way ahead, if it does not then it may well be wasted money. It is the same with outsourcing, does the money I spend save me enough time so that I can make my cost back plus some extra in my pocket by spending that time doing some other money making activity.

I think anything can work if you find a use for it...

before buying any product (not just a WSO) know what YOUR end goal is, and what YOU are looking to achieve...

then locate products that in with you existing goals, and that you can already tell will be a great asset/tool in helping you get ahead faster...

Too many people get caught up in the "next great idea" and never actually complete any of them (maybe getting like 30% completed before being bored with "lack" of results)

So keep that in mind too

Well I can't say that some of the one's I have gotten haven't worked. In fact it was amazing.
I do understand that people being selfish won't say that they made money using because they want to keep it to themselves, and the I scratch you, you scratch mine mentality ruins alot of things.
I guess you really do just have to look hard to find good WSO's.

There are few "I made x amount with this" because the purchasers don't take action.

Sure, as others have suggested, perhaps people find a gem and don't want their secret out, but it's (IMHO) because people CAN'T post those things - they don't make anything with WSO's because they are too busy scanning the WSO forum for another one that they just haven't had time to get to that one they bought yesterday (or the day before, or the day before that, or last weekend).

Suck in all the knowledge you can find, but remember, intelligent trial and error (aka the school of hard knocks) will teach a lot.

    I'm sorry, but...

    NONE OF THE WSOS WORK!

    You do the work.

What I mean is, if you apply these methods, you will make some money. The question is not whether the methods are practical, the question is whether they give you a good return on the time (and sometimes additional cost) investment.

George says it right. You have to put in the time
to work info. learned in WSO. No matter how good
the info. is if you don't get off your butt,

      No WSO will work.

Another post said that we find info. that does work
but we keep it to ourselves. This is so true. You
can't reveal your income stream to everyone.

Making a living is tough enough, finding good info
in a WSO and learning that strategy by putting in
the work should be your secret.
