Seeking A Little Help With My Wordpress Blog

Hey Guys, I just set up a wordpress blog and i'm using the basic CLASSIC template.
In the side bar it has titles such as:

Pages
(With Links)

Categories
(With Links)

Archives
(With Links)

My question is this. How do I add another title in the side bar? Such as Categories, Pages, and Archives.

I want to add an "Article" title so that is identical to the "Pages" title so that I can just add articles there specifically, because under my "Pages" title I have Site map, contact us, about, and privacy policy, and when I try to add an article in there it looks funny because it puts the article link in the middle because it looks like it is sorting it in alphabetical order. If someone can help me with this I would really appreciate it

Thanks

I use a plugin called Page Link Manager which allows me to remove privacy policy and that stuff from the menus. Check that out for starters.

If I understand your question right, you will need to go to your WP dashboard. About mid way dponw the page on the left side will be a heading for "widgets" click on that and it will allow you to add, subtract, rearrange or rename the items in sidebar.

Do what Goatboy said, but if your like me and not familiar with WP, and need step be step guide, here is how you do it:

Go to your wordpress blog's Dashboard
On the lefts side find Appearance
From the drop down menu choose Widgets
On the Widgets page you will see 2 boxes, the top one is called Available widgets
Under Available widgets choose a widget you need. But if you need a widget that isn't available, but you have the code for it, choose the text widget (Arbitrary text or HTM), and simply paste the code into the text widget.
In any case(text widget or any other available widget) click on the chosen widget and drag it to the right side under where it says sidebar(1, 2...). A little box will appear, drop your widget in there.
Now on the right side of the widget open the drop down menu, and fill out the informationaccordingly and save.
Look at your blog live, and your widget should be on your sidebar.
    I hope it helps.
