AC Motivation Shot Up

Basically I've been with Associated Content since March of 09. Up until recently I haven't really submitted like that much articles. Well just yesterday I wrote an article based on "The Sims 3" and I just had a feeling they wouldn't take it because I didn't think being an avid sims gamer like myself would be something that they would want. I know they will take anything on any topic, but I just figured that Sims wasn't as popular as it used to be. I didn't let that discourage me for I went on ahead and submitted the article (b/c they say you won't know what can happen if you don't do it).

To my surprise, on the SAME DAY that I submitted it (which is today), they came with an offer on it for $2.00 (it was a short article). Now I'm ready to submit more articles about the Sims as I know that game from inside and out. I've had almost every single Sims game that's ever came out, except for the Pets one.

Alright, enough about that...just thought I'd share my surprising success with you all. I know it's nothing spectacular or anything, but it is a start.

AC can be a good source of cash. I started there in 2007, and haven't written for them since 2008, but they've sent me about $20 or $30 per month, every month, since (those performance views).

$2 for an article seems like they've really dropped off on regular payoffs though...i used to get $7-10 per article easy. I know it dropped to between $3 and $5 a while back, which is why I stopped writing, but $2 is not very good at all.

Well I usually get about $3.74, but this article was probably the shortest one I've done yet. But yeah, the Performance Views are pretty nifty though.
