All this Internet Marketing business looks ungrateful when you find your product on torrents.

How frustrated you guys get when finding your own projects or ebooks that you market uploaded on the sharing sources like rapidshare and torrents or some document share resources and one day discovering them indexed straight after your main website on Google?

I'm sure it's a very big and common problem of all internet marketers. And I'd like to know what measures do you undertake to fight with that sort of scams.

I'm sure that few torrent uploads of your own paid content can ruin your business in a matter of a glance.

Any methods to fight with this nasty scambags (you seems just can't avoid them on the internet)

Thanks for your thoughts!

This is one of the huge benefits of learning how
to properly launch a new product. You make the
vast majority of your sales in the first 72 hours.

After that, it doesn't matter a whole lot what happens
    with the scammers and thieves.

Not to mention leveraging the ability of Torrent sites.

Quick Tip: Before you even release your product. Make a torrent file of it with some intro paragraphs or maybe a chapter or two. And if people start downloading it, they will only get your sample product.

Also by that time, yours will be the top one. Don't put the words "sample" or "intro" in your torrent file. Let people think that it is the real deal.

And make sure to put your link in your ebook to buy the full product!

    I hope this helps!

Those thieves would never have been your customers anyway. I just don't even worry about and take what precautions I can.

    Congratulation on your free marketing.

I hope you remembered to put in some (non downloadable product) affiliate links and a good description of you and your blog with more tips.

I actually love it when that happens. I count on it and prepare my product creation strategy for it.

there are a couple of things you need to add to your ebooks to serve you no matter what:

    1. brand like crazy.

most of my ebooks are pinky with purple bubbles.

I am girly and like those colours, but goes beyond it. Anyone seeing any of my products will know it is me.

I am actually doing 2 different skinning for my products lately. Thinking on selling mrr or plr of them in the future.

    2. add links back to your website in any possible spot without being annoying

    3. Add affiliate links to related services. Not competition.

    3. create a funnel, what comes after that ebook? a membership? consultation? seminar? Those things can't be added to any torrent, and the ebooks will bring you business.

    4. add a call in the ebook to get them on a list. Offer something silly, like a recording. Just for "clients".
