If I re-driect to another site, can I view my WP blog?

Hi Gang

Bit of a weird one. I've built a wordpress blog for a friend which is at the main domain (not is a sub blog directory), but in the mean time, he wants the URL to re-direct (probably in the godaddy redirect fasion) to another website.

So, my question is, while I'm still developing the WP blog, when I then click "Visit Site" in the WP-Admin screen, would it then end up going to the re-directed site? How could I get around this if that is the case?

    Yes, you will be redirected.

    You could try use the preview button instead, i think that will work.

    BTW: You could develop the blog on a secondary wp installation or even on your local computer using xampp. No need to develop on the final domain.
