[Help]How to get more affiliates to CB Product?

by IMKing

Hi,

I am new to CB market but recently we launched a product related to "health eating" in clickbank.

I am quite comfortable to do SEO for this website to get good rankings but it takes some time, but we launched this in CB so we have to take this product to more affiliate members which will be helpful to all.

I need some advices, how to get more affiliates to promote my product. Due to less number of posts i have not introduced my product in JV section.

Expecting a positive responses from you all to guide us to get more affiliates.

Thanks in advance.

You may already be offering high commision on the product, I wouldn't know. But if not, then make sure you are offering at least 50% commision. Possibly even a bit more.

It can be difficult to bring yourself to offer potential affiliates a bigger cut, but it'll attract more affiliates. Giving a bigger cut to a lot of gained affiliates is better than having no affiliates at all.

Do a Video about your product and upload it to youtube for lots of traffic and make it known to them that they can register as affiliates. Then you can as well do a product launch.

I'd say bump your payout to 75% and consider offering volume-based bonuses on top of that, especially since the price is on the lower side.

In my opinion, most serious affiliates expect the max commission of 75%.

I have a follow-up question...for affiliate, which is more important, a higher total payout or the percentage of commission? I know it would be nice to have the higher dollar, but is the percentage important to you in some way?

For example, for similar products, one price at $30 with 75% gives you about $22. Another priced at $50 at 55% gives you roughly the same. All other things being equal, which would you take?

I'm working on some new things. So, nothing to promote just yet.

I would promote the one that results in the highest net payout. It is more than just the product price or comm %, what is the conversion % and refund rate? As an affiliate, I would split test both offers and find the one which gives me the highest payout per visitor I send to the sales page.

It is just as easy to sell a $27 product as it is a $97 product. In competitive niches like health and fitness, many times it is not economical to promote a product and make less than $20. That is, unless you have a nice list of cheap PPC keywords, a high ranking website with lots of organic traffic, or a great network of articles pulling in many views.

I'd promote the cheaper priced product which pays me a larger percentage. It's easier for me to sell cheaper products usually (all else being equal).

But as someone already mentioned it's best to split test a few products in each category and work out the EPC you get.

I know EPC is not something usually associated with Clickbank products but that is the ONLY stat you should be looking at with your affiliate marketing efforts, when you are testing a traffic source.

Contact affiliates personally... works like a charm.

    Where to find affiliates?

HINT: IM forums are loaded with them. Plus, you can contact bloggers, and
website owners in the same niche. Show them how much money they can make by promoting your product

Thanks for the suggestions. It seems that the highest dollar amount is what motivates the IMer to start promoting your ebook. I guess this is the case for pricing high as well. Why not if you have some great affiliates who can make the sale.
