I hate article writing, is video marketing just as good?

Hi Warriors,

I am still new but I have done a fair bit of article writing and I gotta say I don't think it's for me.

I realise it's importance for generating loads of traffic but I was thinking of trying another route.....using video.

I have done some editing and stuff in the past on personal videos,(nothing naughty!), but I haven't tried video marketing.

Does anyone have any advice on how to start? Or where I can get an ebook or something to learn?

Also, do you guys think this is a good way of generating traffic, say through Youtube and the like?

Thanks,

Andy

    definitely!

There are more and more people who have more success with video's than they do with articles.

      Hi Andy

Keep it to yourself if you don't mind.
Video articles far outperform articles. If you are in the mood to do video articles then you can capture a niche and keywords this way.
My videos on youtube bring a constant stream of traffic. Because the visitor has seen the video they are better qualified. The visitors are better value.

But please keep this to yourself

Have you tried out-sourcing article writing?

    Hi Andy,
I just googled some stuff about this and i found this article
    ezinearticles.com/?Viral-Video-Marketing-Vs-Article-Marketing---What-Link-Carries-the-Most-Weight-With-Google?&id=3514740
"Imagine seeing an ad in a magazine and viewing an ad in television - which one is more likely to appeal to you? The television ad. This is because it appeals to your visual and auditory senses and you don't have to take the effort to read it to get the message. The same is the case with viral videos."
I think that's your answer right there!
I think you could definitely start up your video marketing but keep at your articles- this way you're not relying on it as your sole source of generating traffic.
    Good luck!

Video marticle if carried out correctly can be at times more effective than article marketing. I use a good mix of both, and revenue is increasing at a quicker rate ever since i incorporated video
