Clickbank 1099 form - Did you get yours yet?

Just wanted to see if anyone got their 1099 form from Clickbank yet? I know they have until the end of this month to send them out, but I guess you could say I'm impatient. Just want to get my taxes finished up and this is all I'm waiting on.

    It's been almost a month since this thread started and I STILL haven't received my 1099 from Clickbank (I've received them from everywhere else).

    Has anyone received a 1099 from Clickbank yet this year?

    I thought they had to send them out my January 31st?

      Did you use an EIN or SSN with ClickBank?

      Same thing happened to me last year so I asked ClickBank themselves and they said since I use an EIN for my business (LLC) vs. an SSN they are not required to send a 1099. Even though I get them from other affiliate companies but not many.

      I checked with my CPA and she said that is correct it gets filed in my Schedule C but no 1099.

      It behooves you to check with ClickBank and your own accountant though to be 100% sure vs. making important decisions based on forum posts.

      But unless anything has changed this year, I am not expecting a 1099 from ClickBank this year either.

    That explains it!

    In previous years I was using my SSN and received my 1099 from Clickbank, for 2009 I switched it to my company EIN!

    Thanks Alan, you solved my mystery (of course I'll double check with CB and a tax professional)...

      Cool. That's why ClickBank really encourages affiliates that make more than $600 per year to register for an EIN. They even provide a link to the IRS page to get your EIN. They could save a lot of money if they don't have to print and mail 1099's.

      @mikkosant, not sure if you read the other posts but if use an EIN vs. SSN with CB you more than likely won't get one.

      The deadline for companies mailing out 1099's is February 1, 2010 so if you haven't gotten one by now, you're probably not getting one.
