A Puzzling Situation...
I recently uploaded an Audio CD to Kunaki.com to format for sale. I had to use the Audacity software in the process of my converting the audio into a format acceptable for upload to Kunaki. I have the Kunaki setup on my computer to send out the CD orders when they are received. I might add here that I use Yahoo! Voice/ Messenger to make phone calls.
Yesterday morning, I received a recorded telephone message to my yahoo address from a strange phone number - 1 (754) 281-0224. I am not familiar at all with this number!! I opened the attached audio message to listen, and I find my recorded CD being played back!!! I don't know if this is a phone number being used to harass unsuspecting people around the US. The number appears in my Yahoo! Voice inbox a few times as missed calls. There were no voice mails left... apart from the one time I found my audio CD attached as a message. Does anyone have a clue as to what is going on!! I consulted Kunaki and they said that they are not familiar with the number. Is there any tech or regulatory body I can refer to? Thank you for any assistance...
