This post won't show you how to use the latest widget or gadget to make money but it will hopefully provide some powerful insights that will help you make money by developing money-making habits

2009

Although for many people 2009 was the year they'd rather not remember, for me, and my consulting business, it was a huge success.

Now, 2010 is rolling on, and we're off to a great start. The secret? Focus, Action and Belief.

3 Dream Wreckers

As I'm spending most of January into mid February working with members of my 4-week coaching program I'm coming to realize and witness first-hand, that even though so many people set goals at the beginning of each year, relatively few end up achieving them.

I think it's mostly for 3 reasons.

First, many folks lack 'CLARITY'. They're confused about what they want to do and how they want to achieve it. This confusion often seriously impacts their confidence in their ability to ever reach their dreams.

Second, most people rarely 'PLAN' how to reach their goals far enough in advance. As a result they spend most of their time putting out fires and responding to emergencies instead of working towards what they really want to accomplish.

Third, very few people are brave enough to 'COMMIT' to doing everything that needs to be done to reach their goals. Most quit and change direction at first sign of difficulties.

Whether it's your personal or business dreams, ask yourself what do you really want? What action steps will most likely get you where you really want to be? After this, resolve to take MASSIVE ACTION - consistently and no matter what gets in your way.

Personally, I also found it helpful to hire coaches, work with mentors, and always mastermind with other smart people. You'll find lots of them willing to help you here in the Warrior Forum. Personally, they help me gain clarity, develop and evaluate specific plans, and serve as 'Accountability Partners' when I try to wiggle out of doing what I set out to do.

I hope you find this helpful in dreaming bigger and reaching for what you want in 2010 and beyond.

January has nearly gone - Get Clear - Plan and Commit and success and money will follow.

To your success!

Thanks for sharing this post, it is helpful information. It's important to someone like me, in the beginning stages of making this my full time career. I am very much focused on what I want to do as far as this goes. I do have a plan, even though I'm going at a slower rate, I believe sticking with just my 2 niches is the way to build. And I am very much committed to this whole package. This is the best I've felt about any job, ever

      Well done and congratulations.

There aren't that many people who can say that with confidence and honesty. It's usually a few swear words in the morning after being woken up by the annoying alarm clock.

Keep it up and be ready to make adjustments as you go along and I guarantee that you'll look back every week, every month and at the end of the year and you'll be proud of your progress (as well of your income) !

Thank you! I know it's just a little early, but I can say I am proud now for what I have accomplished. I have heard over and over how, it isn't easy to get articles approved through ezine. I can say from knowing nothing at all, to having all my articles taken right away, and I'm up to almost 1000 views in 16 days... is something to be proud of. It is a lot of very long hours, and always sitting at the laptop, coming up with new material can be tedious. I have loved writing all my life, now I can get paid (or soon to be), for it!

          Cindy,

I feel an interview coming up here!

'Expert' interviews are great, but what really motivates ordinary, everyday folks to believe that 'the system' works is hearing it from people like yourself who have just gone ahead and 'done it'

1000 views? That's 1000 more than those who want to achieve what you've achieved by can't get started. Soon you'll be telling your story of how you're earning $1, $10, $100+ a day!

You've been given the results you've got to date I believe, so that you can be an inspiration to many others.

I'll PM you and feel free to say "Yes!"

Bayo, these are all things I knew but they were starting to get crowded out of my mind by too many little details. Thanks for the reminder to keep focused on the big picture so that the details add up to something more!

I think it all starts with a dream and BELIEF in yourself, which compels you to take action. I feel so sorry for some of my friends who have wanted to break into IM for several years now, but they're constantly riddled by fear, anxiety, and sheer skepticism and doubt that they just can't make it. The sad thing is that they haven't even taken any concrete steps yet. I look at them today and just feel so thankful and blessed that I have taken massive action instead of sitting on the sidelines. I simply could not have lived with myself if I had stopped short of actually doing something, and instead just wondered how things would have worked out.

Planning is easy but what people lack is the bravery and courage to take action because they FEAR failure.
