Ok all seasoned warriors just a thread to help those starting fresh ...
We have had niches that have profited us along the way and then have fallen by the wayside and replaced by something better.

For example mine was the 'make money online' niche back in the day and still plays a role to a lesser extent and i just stumbled across it.

What was the niche and how did you discover it?
#niche #profitable

Could you explain the benefits to seasoned Warriors divulging their most profitable niche again?

The logic is sort of escaping me at the moment...

lol. Some 10 years or so ago I happened to come across a Senate hearing on CNN one day, and it was something to do with fake ID's and how they were getting more sophisticated and more common. One of the "expert witnesses" made the comment that the new PVC-style ID cards were virtually impossible to counterfeit. Being a graphic artist (among many other things), I immediately thought, "Bullstuff." 2 days later me and some associates had created a template to recreate the ID's. I then happened upon a forum that was all about making fake ID's, and found a thread about false identities. For some reason, I became very intrigued with the subject and finally wrote a 400+ page e-book detailing how to disappear and change your identity. While I certainly didn't get rich from my efforts, it did create a small but steady stream of income over the next 5 years. Not bad, considering how small the niche was and that it was my first time ever promoting a product on the internet..

    Reapr,

I'm one of those people who only market to niches I've got a passion for. I've found that 'how to' niches have provided me with the most satisfaction and have been more profitable when I ask myself 'how did I.....?' and go about filling in the blank with something I've done that has been significant for me. I've been able to write better reports/ebooks on these subjects and inject more enthusiasm into them this way. For example, I've lost weight, given up smoking, made money online, taught my children to read at an early age and made a good career for myself. I've written ebooks on all of these subjects and found the process fulfilling because it's personal. If someone's reading this thread with a view to getting niche ideas... that's my 2 cents worth. Back in the 90's I dominated the "chat" sites.

My chat portals ruled the top of the search engines (Webcrawler, Excite, Lycos, Hotbot...) for any keyword that had chat in it.

Chat, chat sites, chat software, free chat...

Anytime anyone typed in a phrase that contained "chat" they probably ended up on one of my sites.

Trading which became Forex which I'm still in. How did I discover it? It was simply one of the hottest markets with cracking payouts.

Only downside was that I got too involved in 'learning' the technicalities of Forex so I could write about it. Ended up working the wrong side of the 80:20 rule.
