Is It Best To Have Social Bookmarking Profiles For Each Niche

I'm getting ready to sign up for some social bookmarking sites to promote some
affiliate programs should I create separate profiles for each niche or use one profile.

I use one profile. Many sites don't even allow multiple accounts.

I've had the opinion that if you submit a diverse set of websites it looks more natural. If you only promote the same type of sites, it might look spammy.

    Just my $.02

I'm thinking the same thing for bookmarking, but for creating profiles at
facebook & the others I think it would be best to create a seperate
    profiles for each niche.

I would use one account. Like Mattk said it will look more natural and less spammy. Make sure to bookmark other sites that maybe directly related to you via blog comments, article directories hosting your articles, video share sites hosting your videos, etc. This should help your site get more relevancy with search.

Use one account and use a variety of links. I recommend a 1-3 or 1-4 ratio the key is diversity. If you account gets banned or deleted then start another.

Aged, active and themed accounts can be a good thing if setup and used correctly. If you don't have a long standing interest in a tight niche, then the one-for-all setup is fine.

I use one profile for all my sites. If I have multiple sites in one niche I sometimes built authority profiles that focus only on pages in that niche. If you can you can outsource this very easily as well...

If I was to promote 6 different affiliate products would a generic
name like "bestblogger" be ok as long as it doesent sound spammy.

I have 15 or so accounts at over 100 different sites. I always bookmark 2-3 news/sport related links for every one of my links.

It really depends whether you're doing it manually or automatic.
