Targeted Keyword Research: Not Sure How To Sell.

Hi fellow Warriors,

I have a question for you tonight. In the past days I have done some very targeted keyword research on some of the top ranking clickbank products in the weight loss / diet niche and I'd like to create maybe a sales page and eventually a WSO for those and some more in the future.

However I am not quite sure how to present that as I can't obviously reveal the keywords. They are sets of about 9 to 12 keywords.

Would showing the product it targets and the search count and competition count be enough to have a good appeal?

What's your take on this? Would you buy something like that?

PS: I will not sell the packages here, don't ask. I just want to see how I could put that into a sales page and eventually a WSO so it will benefit my fellow Warrior. If there is enough interest, I could have more packages in the future.

Nobody would like that service? Or has any opinion for that matter?

I don't understand what you would be selling.

It's so easy to find good keywords, the struggle is to get all those websites with quality content up cost-effectively so they can be cash-positive as soon as possible..

I doubt anyone would buy keywords from you, there is a limitless supply and new ones being created every day..

So, you want to sell me another way to easily make "X" dollars in "X" days? ROFL too funny! IM success requires hard work and lots of time. Most newbies do not survive the steep learning curve. Anyone who says otherwise is probably selling you a fantasy.

Thanks for stopping by and giving your opinion.

If you are a seasoned IMer I guess you don't need that, you're absolutely right.

However, I have seen many people doing "keyword research" but not really knowing how and they end up doing a lot of work around some keywords but can't rank because either the competition is too tough or there is not enough search volume so they don't see any results.

I have seen some WSO and "warrior for hire" around keyword research services, that's why I was wondering about that.

And I have done some keyword research around some products that could be used immediately saving time and effort. That's where I was going.

Well I'm not sure how well your keyword research package will do.. Because many marketers use softwares like market sumarai or keyword elite for research, which brings many keywords with less competition with very less effort.

But I guess it's worth a shot to try selling your package Well you can not reveal the keywords but you can reveal the no of competing pages and no of searches per day

The main benefit would be the time you are saving the marketer from doing hours and hours of research.

I agree. However, I think a lot of the members here are more advanced than the typical IM'er, and therefore already know about researching keywords and such, and already have a system in place that works for them. But I don't see why such a service couldn't be successful if you targeted beginning IM'ers. In fact, if you could pull in a regular stream of these new marketers (hopefully through a mailing list) and show them results, then you would build a level of trust such that you could then offer them another, slightly more advanced, service a bit further down the road. After each such sale, you would then offer another product or service that is yet a bit more advanced than the previous one. So in theory you are holding their hand as you help them create their business step by step. Yeah, I think you could possibly make a go of it if you really targeted your audience. A mailing list would be an easy way to time just when to send them your sales pitch for the next step.
