1. Google Scholar Advanced Search
Google Advanced Scholar Search
Can be used to find lots of "scholarly" information, avoiding much of the "noise" of a regular google search.

Example - information about dog bites:
allintitle: dog bites - Google Scholar

2. Google Maps
Google Maps
Google maps can be used for all sorts of things, so just experiment with it.

Example of a cool thing you could do:
- search for chiropractor manhattan
- that should turn up about 10 search results
- click "Send" in the upper right corner. This will open a new window, and in the "Message" field you will have the contact information for all 10 chiropractors.
- alternatively, click on each one of the search results to see more information, for example their e-mail address.

This should be helpful for some "offline" marketers :-)

3. Google News Advanced Archive Search
Google News Archive Search - Advanced Options
Example:
- Go to the link above, and type in "halloween" and press search.
- Click on "2000" on the graph on top of the search results, to choose a time period.
- Click on "2009" on the next graph that pops up
- Voila! People write about halloween all year, but a bit more in june and july, even more in august and september, and 6-7 times more in october, then a little less in november.
- Want to know topics that are good to write about a month before halloween? Click on "Sep" on the graph.
- Want to know topics that are good to write about a bit closer to halloween? Click on "Oct" on the graph.
You should be able to get loads and loads of great article ideas using google news.

4. Google Video Search
Google Advanced Video Search
Want to find video tutorials about loads of stuff? Try to put the exact topic in the "with the exact phrase" field. In the "with at least one of the words" field, type "tutorial guide lesson" and so on.
Example:
"golf swing" tutorial OR OR OR guide OR OR OR lesson - Google Videos
