Creating a Responsive List

Hey Warriors,

I was thinking of ways to get my subscriber list to be more responsive, and I thought I'd come here and share what I do, and would love to hear some of your ideas on making your lists responsive.

I make sure that my subscriber list knows what I look like, whether that be sending a video message, or just having my picture in my signature line. That way there is a face to the name on the email.

What do you do?

A great "Call to action" will usually get your list to do anything you want.

Simply sending them a non-typical email asking for a response works well for me. Something like..." I need your help", "Your suggestions please", etc linked to a survey has increased the level of interaction with my list.

On ocassion, send them something that's not related to your niche. Like, for example, if you find a really funny video on YouTube, send your list an email about it. It shows that you are a real human being, and not some robotic autoresponder just looking to make money from them.

Call to action and also I make sure my list knows when to expect an email from me. I normally set it up as a weekly broadcast and title it close to the same. Adding something like [SS] in the front for the subject line so it sticks out or they can search for it though all the junk. Have a set day on which I mail out on seems to have more people opening up my emails compared to when I just randomly send out on some of my other lists.

    The best thing to do:
    START INTERACTING WITH THEM!
Just start doing it, give away content, ask them to ask, get them involved
