I have written a few articles online and I have found that this is probably the cheapest and easiest way to make online. You don't need any money to do this, just a little spare time.

After submitting a few articles I realized that this method is a very quick way to create an income with no investment other than a little time.

I have learned that you don't have to know anything about the topic. The internet is a medium where you can find anything that you are looking for.

Here are a few basic steps that you can follow to get started:

1. All you have to do is find a topic that you like or are interested in do a little research on Google, Yahoo, or MSN. Make the article about 250 to 450 words.

Once you find a topic that you like do go to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal to find a good topic keyword that you can have as the title of your website or blog and determine if there is traffic for it. You need have at least 80 global searches per day.

2. Get a free blog at workpress.com, weebly.com, squidoo.com or any free website or blogg service. If you are not sure of how to write an article and need some help there are many websites that can guide you from start to finish for free.

3. Submit your article to EzineArticles Submission - Submit Your Best Quality Original Articles For Massive Exposure, Ezine Publishers Get 25 Free Article Reprints and Article Search Engine Directory: GoArticles.com (all free) and other free article directories.

These 2 article services are the best in my book. It will take up to 7 days for your article to go live at Ezine Article because the moderators have to review your article.

4. Signup at Digital Products Retailer: Affiliate Program & Sell Online - ClickBank and Amazon.com: Online Shopping for Electronics, Apparel, Computers, Books, DVDs & more (all free) and find some affiliate links that are related to your topic and insert these links in the signature box of your article at either EzineArticles Submission - Submit Your Best Quality Original Articles For Massive Exposure, Ezine Publishers Get 25 Free Article Reprints or Article Search Engine Directory: GoArticles.com or other service.

5. Make sure that you have Google adsense ads inserted in your article. Wordpress, blogspot and weebly will have options for you to add these ads on your blog. The ads are automatically inserted based on the content of your article.

6. Signup with Automated Content & Bookmark Distribution | OnlyWire (free) to start generating traffic to your blog. Do a little more searching on google to find free article submission services to help you generate more traffic to your free website.

And that's it. This process only takes a day or two to perform and before you know it you will have traffic coming to your website and ultimately you will generate some sales. And remember this can all be done for FREE.

#1 - Free word press does not allow you to have adsense ads inserted in your article.

#2 - you need to be careful how you plan to monetize on a campaign. If your product is a good one to convert, you don't want to mess up a $37 sale with a 50 cent click on an adsense ad - and visa versa.

You need to have a clear goal on how you want to initially monetize on a campaign.

You get an "B+" for effort Oliver, but what you outlined is a little out-dated. There are far more effective ways to use an article these days. One prime example is that EZA does not allow direct affiliate links in the article or in the resource box. So you might want to advise people to use their own website and domain name when submitting to EZA (it's a better long-term strategy anyway).
