Social Bookmarking Question - Do you do it NATURALLY?

Hi,

I know a lot of you do socialbookmarking for ONLY your articles.

But I heard it's BETTER to do 10% for your articles
& 90% for other stuff...

so that you look natural...do you do this?

I was thinking of doing this...but was thinking...is that really
worth it since you have to spend 90% of your time or money
outsourcing to other people to Socialbookmark for 90% of
other people's content...

What do you think?

BJ

PS...do you know of any services or people
who social bookmark REALLY well using socialmarker.com
and are cheap? What is the average price of
1 socialbookmarking using socialmarker.com

I knew one guy he did it for $3. Is that normal rate
or do you know anyone cheaper?

Natural means having other people bookmark your content - not doing it yourself.

You can use services like piqq.us login where you just post your links and other members bookmark your stuff for you.

I'm not really sure why people bookmark their own stuff. You can do it but it's nowhere near as effect as when other people do it.

You might want to talk to other members like BigMike as he sells a tool for bookmarking.

i am interested in outsourcing this to someone else...

but thanks for the tip about piqqus.com

so the whole process is...if you digg for someone, they MUST digg for you?

i want to outsource this too...how would you explain to
someone you want to outsource this too using that piqqus.com service?

you can do it like that - or you can buy credits and then just say you want 200 'digs', 'stumble' etc... and the system will show your links until the required number of bookmarks have been done.

So this way you are outsourcing it and pay for others to do the bookmarking - but you control how many and you know they're all by different people and they're confirmed for you.

Ok, that's enough for me. You need to look into some of this stuff yourself.

ya...im looking into it...thanks andy for the tips though....

i am not very familiar with social bookmarking so was
asking about this...i thought it was about you doing 10%
your own articles & 90% other people's...that's one tip
that I learned from John Reese actually...

but never heard about this pique thing...anyone else
use this pique thing...do you also use socialmarker too (which
is something else i heard & used before)?

    which one's better

BJ, I recently bought Google Snatch 2, and found it includes an extensive, excellent plain-English section explaining social bookmarking (all types) from the ground-up.

To be honest with you, I've been wayyyyy behind the ball on social bookmarking. Frankly I was a holdout; I truly thought it was a stupid fad that was going to be here one day and loose its fizzle and die off. Whoops. So I have had to get up to speed on it, and fast; I knew I was soooo far behind ......... *sigh*

That's why I bought Google Snatch 2. It seemed to cover the sort of stuff I was looking for. What really pleasantly surprised me though, was how well-done it is. It's well-written, covers what I feel I need to know about social bookmarking/web 2.0 sorta stuff, and I've already gone ahead and gotten my feet wet playing around with it. It's pretty sweet.

Anyway Google Snatch 2 can be found here. That is NOT an affiliate link ... I'm speaking from the heart on this one, recommending it because it really did help me a lot.

      Good luck!!

      Bailey
