Hi.

If I have completed all possible articles on a particular nieche (say for e.g. wolly gloves) and move to other related things (for e.g. leather gloves), since I am not updating new content on wolly gloves, is it likely that this page(s) will slip down the search engine results?

Thanks.

Jim

It depends on the growth of backlinks to the page and on the other high ranking pages in the niche.

If other pages in the niche are being updated on a regular basis, then there's a good chance you'll slip down the rankings.

There's no real yes or no answer here because Google checks a whole bunch of things when ranking a page, so keep an eye on what's happening on other pages in your niche, both onsite and offsite.

If you can add content to the pages every couple of weeks, that should help them continue to stay in the index.
