What's The Deal With Article Submitters?

Is Article Submission software an effective way to build backlinks?

If I submit an article to 100 article directories does Goolge consider this as spamming?

What is the best article submitting software?

Any information will help me before I drop $100 for an article software.

If you want direct targetted traffic then manually submitting to big article directories like Ezine, GoArticles etc is the way to go. If you are strictly submitting for backlinks then a service like Unique Article Wizard is pretty effective.

      Thanks for the info bannor.

I am looking to build backlinks. Is it ok to submit the same article to several directories? Is there a penalty for duplicate content?

I have researched a few article submission sites and I am about to sign up to submityourarticle.com as I have read good reviews from some respected marketers about it. If you go to the homepage it explains about "article trickle" which will distribute your articles at a more natural pace to bring you better search optimisation results.
However I have not used it yet so I will post back as to how I get on once I'm up and running.

I would suggest you that it's better if you could spin your article. The reason is backlinks with duplicate contents could carry no link juice or perhaps a very little link juice. So i if your using an automated way to submit articles try with software which has this spinning functionality.

I am having a hard time with this very question because I think it depends upon your overall goals and strategy.

The really popular article and document directories already have large communities. So if your strategy is to tap into those communities to funnel traffic to your landing page, blog, whatever, then it seems to me that writing quality content and submitting manually to the most active directories with big SERPS would be the ticket.

Then, the next step in your strategy might be to build backlinks to those articles to build their Google ranking.

On the other hand, if you just want SEO backlinks to your site, then article marketing services work. But there are other ways to do that, so you'd need to determine the BEST way of building backlinks in that overall schema - profile backlinks, blog networks, whatever.

I agree use here's what I do seems to working good
    20 articles original and submit them to TOP 5 goarticles.com, ezinearticles.com articlebase.com and articledashboard.com

Submit first to ezinearticles.com wait till your articles are approved
Then submit to the other 3-4 mentioned
After that rewrite all the articles using a spinner I use thebestspinner. It is way better than contentboss and it's free as of now.

After you rewrite your articles submit them 2 isnare or contentcronner

    Hope that helps!
    Cheers

You might want to try "spinning" your article to avoid duplicate content penalties.

I've used ArticleBot by Incansoft a lot and love it. Submits to around 400 article directories and supports Jetspinner syntax.

There was a sale going on yesterday at Incansoft and it seems to still be going on today. Use the coupon code PARTY and you get ArticleBot for $12.95. One time payment. Can't beat it.

And please don't listen to the people that say you need to spin everything to avoid a duplicate content penalty. There is no duplicate content penalty for submitting the same article to directories.

Personally I would not spend the money on the submitter but that's me ... What you need to realize is some of the draw backs..

Now personally I do not believe in posting articles just for backlinks, I know many self proclaimed experts teach this but to me it is a bad method and not a very good thing to build your business on.

With that said, I also think you should be out there anyplace you can be - But....

Using an article submitter here is the draw backs

    * Most of them do not use the same exact categories as the sites do. if this happens then your article never gets posted. Some directory owners monitor this and if they see you keep trying to post and it never goes through then some will ban your account due to they know you are not visiting the site to post.

    * Most auto software never ask the permission of the article directory owner if they can build their site into the software for auto posting. Maybe many will not admit it but there are many that do not like article being auto posted to their systems.

    * Many directories have different rules some allow links in the body while others do not. Some also require html to be used in the resource box while others will strip it. Software can not detect all these differences.

    * While auto submitting software can save you time realize that it also uses up a great deal of computer resources and could end up freezing your system if you do not have the memory to handle it.

Personally I would spend my time on article directories that matter and submit quality and informative articles and not just blow out 100+ articles just for back-links.

    Just my opinion though ...

He is too shy to say (or maybe there is a self promote rule?) but submiting to a directory that will automatically back-link every article 150 places would be one I would consider using, especially if it had no Adsense to distract your customer from your sales funnel. And if it had a great real viable spinner and was highly ethical and tuts for everything, sheesh, what else could a guy want?

      Just a thought.

(yeah, I am shilling, but for free.)

Article submitting provides for a targeted direction of traffic to your website. Definitely a good procedure if that is your aim. (Driving such traffic.)

I believe a submitter can be effective but only if you have the URLs to where they are being posted so that you can take the articles that go live and ping/RSS them.

I've always found gold in unique articles rather than spun articles spreading them out to high value eza type sites.

I'm not seeing a whole lot of traffic. I use E-zine Articles and Article Dude. I use wordpress in my signature file. The thing I like about wordpress it will show you what links are being clicked on that are with inside your blog. I don't see any hits coming from my articles. I just released 2 article this month. E-zine Articles display way to many advertising links. I'm looking for a responsive E-zine Directory. Any suggestions?

It's a whole $17 per month. James has built an incredible system for syndication. And he's getting ready to add more features for his members too (auto bookmarking, etc.)

And no, I don't get anything from giving the recommendation. And yes, James is NOW my friend... when we first "met", however, we just did business together. (I wanted to put disclaimers so I wasn't flamed

It can be but the real linking power isn't so much in dumping your article into 100 different directories but submitting a quality article to just a few high quality, frequently syndicated, article directories, like James mentioned.

Why? Because people will like your article and syndicate it to their blogs.

If you just throw spun crap out there, it won't get syndicated and may not get approved by article directory owners. Your links are also more likely to get exposure, ie counted by Google, when they're sitting on a diverse set of blogs rather than buried in a page that never gets spidered on an obscure article directory.

And, to add to that, out of 100 submissions you'll be lucky to have half actually get published in the directory since many are more or less 'dead' (I know mine is) and new submissions go unpublished.

So, you'll get better results for both links and direct traffic with a fewer submissions with quality articles than you will with a big blast of spun low quality PLR articles.

Do you think AP, Reuters, etc have a problem with this?

    This is syndication.
