Where Do Brick and Mortar Business Owner Congregate Online?

Hey Warriors.

I can't seem to find an active forum or groups where these folks congregate.

I know "google it" will help and I already did that and can't find an active one.

Thank you in advance.

Well in the uk we have

    www.ukbusinessforum.co.uk which is very active.

I'm sure there will be a similar on in Canada.

I know that in a couple of my offline niches, the forums are niche related and are NOT open to outsiders.

I operate one myself and have pretty stringent rules for membership.

It does make things a challenge if you are trying to broaden your contacts. ;-(

I know that's true in some offline niches I'm familiar with too.

Dan's content is irregularly read by handfuls of people. Join the elite few by reading his blog: dcrBlogs.com, following him on Twitter: dcrTweets.com or reading his fiction: dcrWrites.com but NOT by Clicking Here!

Dan also writes content for hire, but you can't afford him anyway.

Unfortunately for most of us working online, you're going to need to go and see these people face to face.

One place to start, your local mall typically has a meeting one morning per week with owners/managers to deal with things like safety, trash and general mall operations. If you ask nicely, perhaps bringing coffee, they will let you speak at said meeting for a few minutes.

Other then that check out the BBB and chamber of commerce meetings.

Online it is much harder because people I know congregate by niche.
