Create .exe eBook from Blog?

I'm looking to convert some websites into .exe ebooks. While I've seen some programs that will take html files on your computer and compile them into an ebook, what I want to convert is in Wordpress. Any ideas for a solution?

Maybe a 2-step process? Capture website into pdf, then convert to exe. It would be much nicer to have a one-step process that results in a real ebook.

Why would I want to do this?

To make use of Big Mike's new Padbot. Instead of making some bogus file spammed to software sites to get a backlink, I'd prefer to distribute a software file with real content taken from my actual sites.

becareful if you do that, cos not many ppl will open up .exe files just to read an ebook. You'll end up losing sales via refund requests

Again, that's beside the point, people dont like using exe files to read an ebook, they are not used to an exe file extension, they know that ebooks come in pdf file format... so keep to what works.

Have a look at "e-book pro 6.0", Kindsvater; it may be what you need. (And they're MAC-compatible, these days, too).

As Alexa said, I've been selling .exe ebooks using Ebook Pro for a while now and have never had any problems. I'm not in the IM niche and most of my customers aren't concerned about .exe files.

So, I wouldn't worry too much about that.

If you're selling to your own list you'll be fine since they trust you, but I myself having recently gotten a virus wouldn't open one.

Just a suggestion, if you are going to have to convert the website to a pdf file anyways, and you are just looking to have an .exe file to post on software sites.

Why not just convert to .pdf and then zip to a self-extracting zip file, then you have an .exe file that simply contains a .pdf?
