Any advice on the best place to sell domains - I know there are the auction sites such as SEDO but how about forums such as DNForum and Namepros.

    Hi Changing Man,

Depending on how confident you are of the quality and popularity of the domain name, you might want to consider posting about it on Warrior forum itself (specifically as a WSO).

    Cheers!

Sedo.com and Afternic.com are my suggestions for end-user sales. NamePros.com and other domaining forums are good too, but don't expect end-user prices. Expect reseller prices, which are much, much lower.

Did you try deleteddomains? I think you can sell it there. It is a forum actually and people do sell domains there.

Thanks to everyone so far - some good suggestions. If anyone has experience of selling in these different places I would be interested in any tips.

If listing at Sedo or Afternic, you stand a 10x better chance of selling if you place the listing in the right category AND specify an asking price.

    +1 to sedo.com

Imo, DP is not so great unless you are sure that your domain has got so much demand and potential. Otherwise, the asking rates are pretty low and it might be hard to make a sale there.

I have over 700 domains. I have half parked with Sedo and the other half I really need to monetize. My main suggestion though is to make sure every domain name has the text 'THIS DOMAIN IS FOR SALE" in you registry contact information.

I get about 50 people a year who contact me directly with offers and that is with me actually doing nothing.

I sold a domain name for $7000 one time. It had a city name in it. Maybe if some of your domains are like that, you can sell them locally. I placed an ad on CL and on sedo but never did find out where the person first found me. I was just happy he did.
