Google Can and Does filter Comment Spammers

I am getting pounded with comment spam by one site over and over across my blog network.

I did a little research and the site Does not appear at all in Google Search other than on some Blogs that are indexed.

So people who think they can buy automated tools to just spam links on Blogs are in for a sad surprise.

You will not rank by automatically spamming blog comments. In fact Matt Cutts has spoken recently about Google filtering Comment Spam.

I think most people here are smart enough to already know this... but for those who are new... you would be best served to think of legitimate linking strategies on sites that welcome your participation.

I have not posted the URL because I want no part in promoting this spammer.

Legitimate linking strategies . . . you mean like leaving real and thoughtful comments? Manually? It'll never work, that would take like, what...a whole freaking minute? Man, we can't be bothered with that. We must avoid common sense at all cost!
