Woud You Like A Free 30 Day Marketing Course?

Hello all,

I'm currently just finishing up my newest project where I show people step by step how to start making money online. After 3+ years of marketing I feel its time to give back to my favorite community and I'm creating a daily "30 days to profit" course (free for warrior members).

I'm just curious if you would be interested in this and what topics you think I must not miss that people have not shown you before or you may still be confused about.

For those wondering this will be suited best to anyone who hasn't made the money they have wanted yet or just can't seem to find the best way to get started.

Thanks for your comments!

~Blaine

I think that, for a newbie, the hardest question to answer is "What can I actually do of all the methods you present me?"

There is a lot of information available, but I've never seen a course that starts with a questionnaire, like:
    - What are you good at?
    - What do you want to do?
    - What you fear?
    - Are you a procrastinator?
    and so on.

I would love to see a case study : an actual case study, where someone explains not how to build a site, but how did they built their sites, how they built their products and so on. Generic advices are fine, but actual examples are motivating.

That is a very good point, I was very frustrated for the first year or so starting out because it was so much concept and not enough "nuts and bolts" so to speak. That's what I'm trying to NOT do.

I plan to have a video every day with the steps and actual videos of myself setting up an example of what the user would be doing, almost like a tech school for marketing if you will.

Thanks for your great thoughtful reply! That's why I love this forum.

My biggest obstacles are traffic generation and product creation.
This is a huge problem with other struggling newbies as well.
Something focusing on those would be great.

About the videos : I would love to see a video, not a PowerPoint presentation, when someone reads what is on the screen. The only time I love someone reading what's on the screen is Karaoke

I would like also a PDF accompanying the videos. Videos are great, but can't be printed. Maybe I want to read the lesson, one more time, before going to bed. Or, maybe I'm at the office, I don't have speakers or I simply want to see very fast what's this about.

A download link for the video would be great, in case I want to see it offline, because my connection is not perfect, and I hear the sound interrupted. If you don't want people to hate your video, please use a player that allows fast forward.

Great insight, I've been lucky enough to always have a good fast connection to the internet for the last x number of years - it doesn't usually come to mind that some people might not.
As far as the delivery types I'm thinking of doing the following:
          • embedded video
          • downloadable video
          • downloadable mp3
          • any forms or checklists in pdf
          • transcription of video in pdf (as long as my transcriptionist has time)

          dremora:
I feel that you are not alone in your troubles, it seems no one really has a complete fool proof way to drive traffic and create products, or it could be that there are too many ways and its hard to know which way to go first.

            Hi

From the newbies that I work with the biggest problem is the getting started bit.

They struggle with choosing what product to promote or even what template they should choose for a blog.

Once these things are done they tend to be able to learn on the go...but these are the things that prevent them from taking the first step in the first place.

            Hope this gives you inspiration

    Thanks Gary,

So based on what your saying it would almost be safe to assume most people are scared of doing the wrong thing...right?

      Hi,
It's partly a fear of doing the wrong thing but also a befuddlement in trying to figure out just what is the right thing. I've read so many ways to do things here and then other people contradicting that. Analysis paralysis sets in very quickly.

For me, two of the biggest problem areas are keyword research and traffic generation.

      Reuven:

I know what you mean about analysis paralysis, it happens to everyone at one point I think. TO get around this its almost, in my opinion, in the hands of the person trying to learn. I can help give people tips on staying focused but I know that everyone is not the same... any thoughts on what keeps you focused?

Traffic seems to be a huge problem right now. And from what I can tell everyone wants it for free, they don't want to spend much time generating it, and they want them all to be rabid buyers...
I'm sure we could come up with 5-10 consistent things you could do throughout a week that would help drive massive traffic most of which being free and not dealing with complex ppc.

This is great and is going to help a lot of people out.
One thing I would make sure you in include is to thoroughly describe each step. For example don't just say start using CPA make sure to explain what cpa means and the different way to go about it.

Alot of good points made here,

I would love to see something that helps us that are scared to make a move for fear of making the wrong one. I also suffer from major info overload, I am not sure what direction to go, I would love something that stays right on course and doesn't stray from the particular path it is teaching. A big one that has also been mentioned is something that actually contains all the steps, not step 1a of 4 steps then onto step 2c of another 4 steps.

I would love to see this guide.

Couldn't agree more. With what your saying. The problem of information overload, would that be more of a user problem, or a teacher problem? I'm thinking it could be both at times, but what would you think would be the best way for the teacher to keep the student focused and not off chasing rabbit trails?
