I have 52 usually but it depends on your products etc.

Support Our Thailand Projects and get 52 Emails over 52 Weeks

On one I only have 7 and others I have 29

Some go for 10 then switch over to another that has 360.

Its all about marketing and what you want to achieve.

Quentin, do you write all content or just a few emails with content and others are Adswaps and/or promoting another's product(s)?

I have about 10 of them but I do send out an email broadcast to all inactive subscribers with a new article or a new offer every 2 days.

Mine range from 17 follow-ups to 150... different niches require different approaches.

I have normally 14 "action orientated specific " followups until they buy a specific product..

But looking at those people on top, I guess my 14 is not exactly much :-P

You have to look at the purpose of your autoresponder series.

Is it to just sell one product and nothing else? Then 7 to 10 followups
      should be more than enough.

Is it to get them into a long running sales funnel selling many products? If
that's the case, you probably want to have at least a year of followups
      running weekly.

I have series running anywhere from 7 to 62 followups.

You have to look at YOUR business model and see what it is YOU have to
      offer.

Remember, if you only have limited info to sell (the case with most single
products especially in niches outside of IM) you can only give away so
much free info before you've given your prospect no reason to buy from
      you.

I'm not sure what the purpose of your question is. If it's to get an idea
of how many followups to use for your own series, hopefully my explanation
above will help guide you. But people just sharing numbers isn't going to
help a bit because each situation is going to warrant a different approach.

If you are just starting out and your list is small I would try just 2-3 follow up to start with, that what's I do...

Then I just send out a few broadcasts, usually adswap emails, each week to grow my list.

I find it better to track whether the follow ups are working or losing me subscribers that way, because everytime I mail out I typically find that I lose a few subscribers... and I like to keep track of things to avoid the same mistake twice, in the case that were to lose more than usual.

Just wanted to drop a line to see if anyone here has done followup emails in the motivation niche and what their experience with that has been. From what I can see they are more content driven you have to train them to buy more. I would love to hear from someone with more experience though.

    Hi there

I have between 9 and 22 depending on which list I use.

Each week I also send a broadcast out to everyone. I tend to call this my newsletter and offer a useful article (about marketing etc.)

I actually find I get a better response from my broadcasts than I do my email sequences.
