HELP...your computer or network may be sending automated queries?

I was looking for a keyword that I can easily rank for and I was using SeoQuake.

After a few keywords I've got this message...

"your computer or network may be sending automated queries"

Now what? I know they usually show this when you do keyword research for TOO LONG, but that wasn't the case here. I just tried a few keywords. :S

How long do I have to wait now till everything is back to normal? Is there another way that I can check pagerank, incoming backlinks and domain age for a website?

    That's normal.

    Get yourself a proxy service, and switch IPs.

    I'm not sure how long it takes to clear up. I've just learned to do my keyword research in short bursts.

    All you can do is wait till you are allowed to use the software again.

    Also, next time when you are doing keyword research, don't ask the software for too many keywords or details or whatever the software does. When you pull too much detail from Google, they temporarily ban you from getting any more.

    It has happened to me once and I wasn't able to use the software for about 4 hours.

    EDIT: If you have DSL, try unplugging the DSL power wire and then plug it again. It should change your IP address (it does to mine) and maybe you can get on again.

    use either a proxy service or some software like 'hidemyip'.

    I got the same thing when I was beta testing market samurai... I found it only lasted a few hours

      Happens all the time when I am doing keyword research

      Using MNF, Google Adwords Tool, Spyfu, and SeoQuake

      at the same time will do it.

      I just wait an hour and then back to work.
