PLR Articles: Would You Really Buy These Articles?

I have an income goal that I intend to meet this month, and I need to make some extra cash this weekend to meet it. As a result, I've been brainstorming a few different ways of making money. For me, writing is the service I can always rely on being able to sell.

I then started thinking about how to meet Warriors' needs with my writing skills. I know we all need fresh articles on hot niches for a low price, so PLR popped into my head. Rather than selling one article for $25 (my usual price), I could make that money by selling it 25 times for $1 each, meeting more people's needs.

For example, I could write 25 high-quality, unique weight loss articles, 5 each on "fast fat loss", "ways to lose weight", "how to lose weight quickly", "diets that work", and "weight loss systems". Then, people could create 5 niche sites for a mini-network of profitable sites, or one comprehensive site, or use them to advertise their existing sites, etc...

So, a little market testing here... would you buy PLR like this? Not necessarily this niche, but 25 articles on a niche (five articles each targeting a specific aspect of a hot niche) for $25? The licenses would be limited to 25 sold. Rights would be almost unlimited (do anything except sell PLR rights).

Thanks!

You are selling your articles for $25... I think that is too much but I can say until I see your work. I would buy 15 articles for $15

I am always looking for Restircted PLR articles. I have actually done well with them by posting the articles on my blogs. I wouldnt buy anything that had a distribution of more then 25, so your number looks good to me.

For 20 articles, I have paid anywhere from $10-$20 dollars. So yes, I would be willing to $25 for 25 articles.

I actually get niche ideas from these when Warriors post their PLR packages. If I see something I like, I will buy it and make a nice custom blog with the articles. I usually use this method when I find myself in a rut and looking for something productive to do.

As for me, I would prefer writing my articles to buying PLR package. I like unique articles.

I'll keep that in mind if I decide to offer a pack with a lower number of articles. I plan to offer a review copy or two (maybe three maximum) of my first article pack so people can see that my work is worth the cost, and isn't just the same respun PLR junk we've all seen a hundred times already.

I'm glad the numbers look solid to you. Hopefully others feel the same way!

Certainly a valid point, though I think many people who buy PLR end up rewriting them so they're unique.

  • Absolutely. 25 for $25 with a limited number being sold and not being able to resell PLR is very good.

It sounds good, but I think $25 for 25 PLR articles is a tad high if it's your first time doing something like this. $15 would be more like it in my opinion

I am not very fond of buying PLR content. I would rather invest money in outsourcing my content writing needs. That serves better for me rather than going for PLR content.

Great, I'm glad to hear that. Thanks!

Thanks for your input! I feel that $1/article isn't too high given my extensive experience writing articles. The content is the same, it's just the price and delivery method that differ.

And to each his (or her) own! We all have different ways of going about IM. I'm usually the outsourced writer, but I want to try something different and see if I can better satisfy my customers' needs.

Now, if you wrote one 7 paragraph 500 word article, then re-wrote every paragraph 6 times, ( for a total of 3000 words), use articleproductions.com paragraph spinner (which in a perfect world make 279,936 variations of the article), 83,980 of those would be 70% unique. The resulting articles would be worth more, though not sure James' spinner can produce that many versions.

(or 6 paragraphs with 4 variations each producing 4096 versions of which 1220 are 70% unique.)

I think I did the math right. Snowing here and I got to go to Starbucks or take a nap. (Most likely both).

It can mark but I limit it to 100 at a time ...lol

To the OP if you need to make additional money and got unique articles and not just some junk then yes I would be willing to pay.

      A few restrictions though ...

      * They do not sound just like each other
      * They do have proper research done and spelling and grammar is correct
      * They are at least 500 words each (I would prefer 700+)

Sounds very reasonable to me, especially if it is a niche I know something about. I say give it a try.

Yeah I'd do it at $25, limited to 25 people, especially if It was limited to 5 subjects, 5 articles on each subject...

Wow, what a great response! Thanks so much, guys!

A few notes: the articles would probably be 400-600 words each, averaging 500 words apiece. They'd definitely be high-quality and unique, not sounding like the same thing over and over.

Based on the responses to this thread, it sounds like this is worth pursuing, so I'm starting work on it today.
