Brad, Your EzineArticles Account Upgraded To Platinum

FYI I pulled this off in one week by submitting 9 really good articles I wrote myself using dictation software. No sales pitches and no links (except the resource box ones).

Somebody told me this was going to be difficult. What was your experience?

    Brad,

Congrats on getting to PLATINUM membership with EzineArticles. This shows that you really have good articles written and the KEY here is to write more and more articles. Don't stop there.

Will all 9 of them get picked up by Google and give you some free traffic? Maybe. Some will and some won't. But I do suggest that you continue doing what you are doing and you will get more and more free traffic.

    Good job Brad.

Brad - You wrote ARTICLES - not promos or lead-ins or whatever.

I have a platinum account that was similarly given very quickly - and have taken several clients to platinum the same way. It should be a goal of those new to writing articles.

I do think it may be harder to get platinum in the IM niche - but I could be wrong about that. Maybe it would just take a bit longer to get there.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

Not to minimize what you've done, but EZA statuses are nothing to get all
excited about. You'd really have to be as dumb as a tick on a dog not to
    get to Platinum Status.

Having said that, had you not, you'd be in some serious trouble down the
road if you wanted to get articles approved quickly and feel relatively safe
about them being approved at all.

In other words, you've gotten over the minimum hurdle to use EZA
    effectively.

Now don't blow it by doing something stupid like sending paid traffic to
    your articles.

That's a sure fire way of getting your account banned.

I am starting to see that now lol. I think I was excited because I have seen people complain about the review process which made me think it was a difficult status to elevate from basic.

Yup... it's fairly easy, but a cracking plan for those that are struggling.

I did a report about this once.

Simply write ten informative articles.. no promo, no keyword Jazzz... just straight up content. It's easy as pie.. if pie was easy

    Peace

I think the "operative" word here is ORIGINAL content vs. using one the many article spinning tools (that don't work) it the key to accelerating ones status on EZA. But like Steve said, if you're not as dull as a tick on a dog, your EZA status is assured as you submit quality content to this UGC site.

My question to you Brad is: How is your Facebook ad campaign coming along?

My Facebook ad campaign is going swimmingly :-)

It's really just an experiment in branding myself because you get so many more impressions than you do clicks. I am glad to see people noticing :-)

Welcome to the Platinum Club, Brad. Be sure to look down your nose at all those smelly peasant writers and condescend to them as they deserve. Sniff a lot. Act as though you have no time for their simpleton questions. You have a duty now to project a certain air of superiority. Don't let us down, old boy.

I got Platinum after submitting 10 articles but that was a while ago.

    Just to clear this up.

I just checked the emails we get from EZA after submitting an article - it says in those emails:

"To qualify for Platinum Unlimited membership, send in (10-25) more articles that meet our posted editorial guidelines and your account will come up for review for the Platinum upgrade decision."

so - there you have it.

Submit 10 acceptible articles and they'll probably just upgrade you.

I thought that was what happened but never noticed it said it in the emails as I don't think I thought it meant anything anyway - afterall, they often call you 'expert author' as soon as you post one compatible article.

I believe you reach platinum status once you have submitted around 10 articles.
This status just means you;re more trusted compared to a new user, and they will approve your articles a tad bit faster.

I've just started working on my 10 articles. Hope I can remember all the
qualifying rules. I'm just trying to write about generic subjects I actually
    know a little bit about.

  • Congratulations, Brad. Good job.

Not to open a can of controversy, but it seems like you didn't post your original articles on your blog or site first, which is recommended by a lot of seasoned warriors.

And.. how many other directories are you going to submit those articles to?

I discuss the same topics on video using my blog. I try to keep my content exclusive these days so EZA "may" be the only place unless someone can convince me otherwise.

I got it after submitting 9 articles because I couldn't come up with a tenth.

Some of my articles were 700 words plus, had lots of information, not keyword optimized, I think I had a link to a blogger blog in the resource box.

There was a woman who claimed to get Platinum status with one article. She said they granted it based upon her professionally written article on gardening and were confident she would continue to submit work on par with that level.

If so that's got to be some record.

It was really pretty easy for me. As long as you follow the guidelines and do not blatantly promote yourself or your website in the article you should be fine. Also, avoid geo-targeting a specific region or city in the beginning, because they tend to reject these.

I have over 700 articles published on ezinearticles that have generate 160,000 views, and that is just under my real name Including my pen names it is over 300,000 views, so success with ezinearticles can happen!

    Job well done Brad! :-)

After writing more than 10 articles in EZA, I applied in Platinum status. I do remember it was my birthday. I was amazed when EZA replied my email back maybe less than an hour, notifying me that I was approved as Platinum status. I am so glad at that time especially it was my birthday :-)
