Which keyword tool do I trust? One has results the other one doesn't. The phrase is "how to make money online for beginners" Yes I know.. too competitive of a niche but.. just wanted to know what keyword to use thats accurate..

I'd crosscheck one against the other, either one sometimes gets way out of whack with the results. They both use different sources for compiling the results, but as long as they're generally close with the results I'll consider the keyword/niche.

I have only use the wordtracker's free tool. But I feel that it is much Google's Adwords keyword tool is much much better than wordtracker free one. Of course I cannot tell anything on wordtracker's premium one since I haven't used it.

But I have used Micro Niche Finder with google keyword tool and the blend of those two have given me some good results.

Micro Niche Finder and Marketing Samurai
has proven to pretty much dominate the
    SEO keyword research.

But I still use Google Keyword Tool
to get information from the 'source'.

Either way, you can't do much without
a premium software e.g micro niche finder,
    marketing samurai, nichebot, wordtracker.

NO tool will give you accurate information about search counts.

Wordtracker will give you thousands of similar/related/long tail keyword phrases for a given keyword with the press of a button.

Google keyword tool is not this advanced.

SEO professionals all use Wordtracker. If Google Keyword Tool was better then wouldnt Wortracker be out of business by now?

my suggestion is use a combination of both to get a list of 10 keywords with good searches and relevant keywords.

at that point analyse the keywords from a couple of sources and see what results you get.

Pick 5 of the best for your site.

most of the softwares have a free month so you can use the software.

The problem with the google tool is that it is far too optimistic.

It sends back numbers that are far too high for search count. "pregnant pause here"........

OK having been torched by the big G let me explain

"G" has a vested interest in you seeing high search results for any terms that might exist. So... I believe that that "G" over eggs the numbers for search.

I have only my 3 year experience in one tight niche to back this up. But as I know this niche better than anyone else pretty much worldwide I would back my instincts here.

Wordtracker or MNfinder have no such vested interest.
They live or die by returning results that really matter

    Google all the way...

Micro Niche Finder's data is taken from Google.

I would go with Google's Keyword tool. MS is probably one of the better options out there if you can afford it. But you can't go wrong with Google!

I use Google's keyword tool because its free and I haven't seen any evidence that anything else is better. With that being said, I recently did a search on Google's tool related to relatively new but going-to-be-hot niche and it reported no results. I know that is wrong, and Wordtracker did show some results. So maybe I have now seen some evidence....
