Those Checking For PayPal Receipts...Be Careful

I just discovered something that I was not aware of.

Those of you who use PayPal as a payment processor, know that the
receipt that they send to you comes in this format:

Item #xxx - Notification of Payment Received from

And then the person the payment came from.

Well, I had a DLGuard subscribe email sent to me but no Notification of
Payment from PayPal...or at least so I thought.

Turns out, I deleted it because I thought it was spam.

Why?

Because it had this in the front of it:

=?windows-1252?Q?Item

and a bunch of other gobbly gook.

I thought it was spam so I deleted it because it didn't look like a PayPal
receipt.

I then checked back through my recently deleted emails and found quite
a few of these.

I don't know what causes this, whether it has something to do with where
the sale comes from or what, but if you casually check for spam to
delete, you might want to take a little more time to see if your receipts
are not amongst that spam.

If you don't have automatic delivery either through DLGuard or even just
a PayPal download page that you set up through your pay button, you
are going to miss sending out product to customers.

Just something to watch out for as I was never aware that this could
happen.

If anybody does know what causes this, please feel free to fill the rest of
us in.
