Hello, I was wondering what traffic methods (free or paid) works best for you for getting visitors to your websites.

    2. Articles backed by good SEO and link building.
    3. The less popular methods - classified ads and traffic exchanges (gasp) because so many people write them off as useless and don't know how to use them.

      I would have to agree, Affiliates are a great way to get targeted free traffic to your site. Alot of people i have spoken to on the forum say that they make it extra enticing to affiliates to promote their products for this very reason ....
      Traffic...

      I do like PPC traffic, because it is instant and gives your site a really good boost of traffic... You just have to work on a budget, as some keywords are just too high to bid on and would send me broke in a couple of days of 200 plus clicks..haha

      But for less competitive niches and keywords, it can be quite an attractive quick traffic system..

    I found article marketing to be my favorite right now.
    I love doing mass article submissions to Ezine and also rank my Web 2.0 sites with my articles on them.

    As far as paid traffic goes:

    PPC is a tricky game that takes time to learn and i seem to like PPV a bit more right now because i have more experience with it and it costs much less.

    I'll add SEO/search engines. I slacked off writing last fall and traffic dropped drastically. Just need to provide fresh content on a regular basis.
