    I would think that having a steady stream of visitors would solve that problem. Not sure if there is an easy way to get around it. Simply make a site visitors want and promote it.

    Alexa goes by page views rather than unique visitors. Just build a site that will yield more page views. have a few sites that are below 60,000 in Alexa and that is because the nature of the sites usually enerate more page views.

    To be honest though, I would take Alexa rankings with a piece of salt.
