1. What do you think is the best affiliate market for a newbie?

There isn't really one that is best for anyone. Essentially we are all doing it to earn an income, so there are markets im in that I have no interest at all in, and others that I really am passionate about. Essentially mine and your task is to determine which markets pay, and pay consistently. This requires research and ultimately... Testing

I have gone into markets which some have said bombed for them and found myself earning well. So was it the market or the method being used?

Then again to be fair, I have gone into some markets and they have sucked ass but I bet there are some that are doing well in them.

It all comes down to testing man, that why I advocate going into around 3 niches as that way chances are one of them will produce and you can then fine comb that market even deeper.


2. Do you advocate low end or high end for a newbie?

Again it really depends. Sure it's nice to make large commission, and you can cover in 1 day what may take you 1 month to cover in a low end commission but affiliate programs that pay more, or have products which are higher end doesn't always equate with consistent commission.

Think of the things you yourself buy daily, weekly, and monthly. Usually its not large ticket items but consumable items, day to day items. These also are more required than just mere wants.

I dont turn my nose down at either low or high end, as I promote both but ultimately its a case of doing research into the market, company and products.

There are many variables in affiliate marketing.
