Specific strategy to monotize a list?

I have pretty responsive 400 subscriber IM list, but I am not making the money I should, with this list, so I am thinking of redoing all my follow up emails.

Anyone got a good specific strategy that would be profitable?

Any ideas would be welcome, thanks.

Well with the limited information, I can guess that the relationship isn't build up enough. It is one thing to send auto-responders that help and give tips to do things, it is an entirely different thing to send auto-responders that gets your subscribers involved in the process.

The key is to get them involved in the communication. Get them to leave comments, video responds, etc...And the key is to actually help them, and provide real results in advanced, before you ask them to buy something.

Yes, you need to build a relationship with your list. carry them as your children and they will love you for it...how? well, for starters make you every post to them is a really valuable unique post and second...make sure to make videos personalized to them. through videos and quality content you will quickly build your trust with them. Then for them to spend money on your products will be like taking candy from a baby. Only this time, they will be happy to give it to you.

A lot of people will disagree with me on this, but I send one 'offer' email for every 5. This keeps my open rate very high. However, I have an affiliate link in my signature for all of the emails. Hope that helps

    Give away more cool ****.

    Promote more cool ****.

The key here is to make sure ALL your **** is REALLY cool.

What do the people on your list think of you?

If they see emails from you as great content with unique personality they will immediately unsubscribe when you send out a copy / paste affiliate mailing as that's not what they expect.

Also if you want to make more money then you should be thinking about ways to add an extra 400 to that list every month and then watch it snowball as you're then able to do adswaps with other marketers in your niche.

Don't fall into the content trap, unless you're content is a fully monetized blog.

turn your subscribers into your friends, get them to fully trust you, provide them with great offers - don't worry about using strong calls of action

Should I start with free offers, go to low cost offers and work my work up to higher offers? if so, over how many emails should this spand?
