How can Social Networking help to grow Our Business?

Hey there,

Social networking sites are one of the best ways to get the word out about your company or product. If you're looking to generate actual revenue on these sites for your business, one way to do so would be to buy traffic/media on that site and run ads through that traffic.

If your looking to promote your site without putting down any money, I would recommend being really active on these sites! Post lots of updates and make as many friends as you can so that your name gets out there. Word of mouth is extremely powerful and will generate real business for you!

Twitter is the best way to generate traffic it is not only free but you can start generating traffic within seconds. If you check out Twollow and enter keywords that relates to your product. Also set up feeds to your twitter account that is a good way to drive traffic to your site. You can also try LinkedIn and create your own group and get others to join your group and start creating conversations.
And you will see how quick traffic generates.

Im with Chelsea. You can only get some tips and help with other people by giving you all the techniques but not in giving all the necessary information to help you in your business.

You can only get these things if you will be paying someone to do such things for you. I would suggest to hire someone who will be responsible in marketing your business.

best tip that I can give to you or anyone else is: Stop treating social media like free adwords...its called social media for a reason.

You don't see Dell posting links 3 times a week with "special offers" or promoting HP

Hi guys

i believe social media is one of the best inventions as far as internet marketing is concerned. Think back to the original word of mouth love that we all have.

Many of us still run offline businesses through word of mouth and social media is the same but for online businesses.

You can chat to people regularly on twitter and because the trust is being built up they will recommend you to others and use you for their projects then when you have a product launch coming up - bingo you have your future clients.

Some of the people that have bought most of my products have come from twitter so dont doubt its power.

  From my point-of-view, the absolute best use of sites like Twitter is as a conduit to my email lists.
  
  Twitter users are temporary at best. They'll be here today and then disappear forever tomorrow - it's the nature of the beast. So, the best thing you can do is to get them on your list before they do their disappearing act!
  
  Once on your list(s), you can really engage in a relationship with them.

Actually, there is no "secret" here - you simply search for people who appear to be somewhat authoritative in your niche and follow them.

When you tweet, don't try and sell your latest affiliate link or product - that's what will get you banned from Twitter. Instead, just post interesting stuff that's connected with your niche (but not ALL about your niche - mix it up with unrelated stuff too) and every once in a while, post a link to your opt-in page.

You'll be surprised at how fast your list grows!

Also, this shouldn't take more than 30 minutes to an hour a day to do. Just remember not to try and spam the system. Keep it natural and entertaining and let the people come to you. Nothing to it!

If you build a string responsive list, none of this other stuff (web sites, backlinks, SEO, etc) will really matter. You'll have an on-demand cash system that can be sold later on as a retirement plan!

Facebook is a huge tool for building your business but you have to do it right. It's the #2 most visited site on the internet and gives you the ability to create fan pages for your business that are only limited by your imagination.

Once you get great content up on Facebook, you need to interact with your fans and regularly post things that they are interested in and tips that will help them.

Don't spam or over-promote, just offer great content and build relationships.

Social Networking is one of the fastest ways to help grow your business, it helps you connect and meet more people that can potentially be partners down the line, but make sure you don't overload on the network site's people don't like that and could get you banned, write good content and also personal content from time to time.
