possible to move domains from godaddy to namecheap?

hey guys, like the thread suggests, is it possible to move domains from godaddy to namecheap?

godaddys renewal prices are ridiculous and i want to move all my domains to namecheap if its possible.

would love to hear from you guys

    Yes. Just go to NameCheap and use the "Transfer Your Domain" option. They have full instructions there.

    • Of course you can. I just did this myself (moved all my domains from various registrars to NameCheap). You'll want to go to GoDaddy and unlock your domains first and get the authorization codes for each domain. Then start the transfer process from NameCheap (they'll ask you for the authorization cods of each domain during the transfer).

        i just did a domain as a test, it took 2 minutes to do

        godaddy wanted $14.99 to renew .orgs and namecheap cost me $9.69 + I got free privacy
