Tapping Offline Professionals for Online JV
I have a friend who's a top offline pro in a field I think would be profitable online. He's very well known locally and is a published author. I'm thinking of initially starting him with a blog and, perhaps a limited interactive membership setup to get a feel for what his market will be interested in, then use that as the basis for an e-product or two and, maybe, an unlimited membership setup with more pre-prepared content.
I've never done a JV arrangement before, so I'd appreciate any advice on getting something like this going. Has anyone done anything like this before?
PS-- I'm meeting with him for lunch Friday. I'll report back on progress of the project for future reference.
