What would you charge to have someone's link on your site?

Hi Warriors,
I've been approached by another website owner who wants to purchase a spot for his link on my site. He declined to do a link exchange and just wants a position at the bottom of my page. How do I determine the value of this? Any special formula I need to know about?
Thanks

What page rank has your site got? and how authority like is it?

Check its pagerank, and see how google ranks it in terms of its pagerank.

You can ask him what 'range' of a price he was looking at offering you.

Then double it! (if you think it is too low)

  • It's worth what the buyer will pay.

Ask him what he thinks it's worth then accept it or reject it.

What PR, rank, traffic do you have? That's the criteria. If you are all the way up in Google you can charge some nice $$$.

Thanks for the advice. My PR is 2 at the moment and his site is 0.
