Newbies do you ever get paralyzed at Internet Marketing? Don't know what to do next?

Sometimes on our quest to earn that money online we get burnt out & paralyzed in a sense that we don't know what to do next.

Then we hear take action, keep trying, testing & tweeking until we find a winner & scale up right. Well this is true but sometimes our efforts don't pay off & it's frustrating all the time we spend writing articles, creating blogs/websites, keyword research then of course our lurking of the forums right?

I'm here with you newbies & while theoretically IM is not easy but simple, it can get frustrating at times. I am not killing it online, heck I make beer money online.

I did get excited when something I wrote finally ranked in the SE's & brought trickles of traffic to one of my websites. Here's a small tip for anyone who's going the article marketing route: I was amazed to find out Hubpages & Scribd rank incredibly well. Hubpages is pretty cool because you can add pics & video modules much like squidoo.

Another tip I learned right here on the forum from Jeremy Kelsall was that most of your competitors won't bother updating their web 2.0 properties such as Hubpages, Blogger etc. So if you add an article, let it sit for a few days then add some pics and/or vids or even add another paragraph/section to it because the SE's love updates & your property will seem more current and updated compared to competitors.

When you see these sites actually ranking & sticking for your KW it gives you a better idea of how this all works. It finally clicks and makes all your hard work worthwhile knowing you're finally going in the right direction. So basically I'm saying if you've never created a Hub or are posting to the same directories & not getting results, get out of your comfort zone & do it.

PS be sure to clear your cookies before searching your KW because I thought I was ranking #1 on a Hub but really on page 2 which still isn't bad at all.

Hi Tim have you used the RSS feature on quidoo and hubpages. I am new also but I found a gimic that works. use the squidoo rss the write a catch phrase in the first part of paragraph one that the rss uses then watch your site traffic get better through traffic. In hub's use the rss but you have to have the real rss url you get this from clicking on the little orange box then submit that url and control the content same way a good teaser will get you way more traffic. free photo site
