Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to get rid of the space that is at the top of my WP Template on my site?

I've pointed the space out on both sides with two red arrows:



If you need the entire website just let me know.

Wrong advice

The height of the header image in the original is 213px.

The OP's image is 267px. So is Najat's.

BUT! - if you are able to read the stylesheet, the height of the header div is 217px. You can NOT place a 267px image in a 217px div. It is that simple.

cuz I thought the white space in your header is the one that cusing this

Same thing....two small. Another issue...my tabs at the top disappear?

Do I need to somehow move may page below the header UP? If so how?

How do I do that? When I try to edit my header.php I get the following form rather than a typical html code:

GOT IT!!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! I just went into the style sheet and changed the header height to 213pix and BAM!!! Thank you again and to everyone that helped....Sounds like I am not the only one that learned here...

the problem was that your header was measured at 217px, while you only had 213px of color, leaving 5px of white space exposed.... it has nothing to do with the height of that image (as evident to the fact that you're still using the same image). The remaining pixels will just hide if presented as a background image.

your solution of lowering the css height to 213 works just as well as raising the colored area of the image you already had to 217px.

Either way is fine so long as you don't lose anything else in the margins and padding along the way. Which it doesn't appear that you had.

The overall height of the image is not pushing anything down. It's presented as a background image. The remaining pixels will just hide.
