Is it a good idea to buy leads?

Hi Warriors, I really need your opinions on this one. I've been trying for years to make money online with very little success because I don't have the financial means to advertise and I don't have any leads.

Is it a good idea to buy leads and if so, can you suggest where I can by them?
I need leads in the health category.

I'm getting really desperate and on the verge of quitting witch is the last thing I want to do. I hope you can give me advice on the subject, you've always been so helpful in the past.

    If your buying leads you need to understand your consumer to the tee.

    You need a nice size budget, $2,500+ to make a significant ROI too.

    Need to know what you are selling and how you are selling it. You say you need leads in the health category. Are you selling insurance? Are you selling it online or over the phone? If you are selling something over the phone, buying applications can work very well. If you are selling it online, I don't think it would work that well.

    I see that you are using Ezine articles to drive traffic. Are you sending the traffic directly to that website or another one?

    I would send the traffic to a squeeze page that is much more focused on getting the opt in.

    as far as buying leads go, you can try and join a CPA network as an advertiser. The only thing is that you will need to track your opt ins very carefully because there are a ton of people who abuse the email submit offers.

    You won't need to pay too much either. Probably around 75 cents to 1.00 per email submit.

    Just make sure you have bullet proof tracking and you keep track of EVERYTHING.

    Buying leads can actually make a difference but ONLY if you take them or buy them from genuine users selling genuine leads. The probability of getting leads are not too high, but you should try getting your own leads by outsourcing article marketing and other similar ways of promotion.

    Yes, use Adwords. That is effectively buying leads and you can get highly-targeted, responsive results.
